Find eight research articles based on the topic, research problem, and the main research question for your study.

Identify a gap in the knowledge or potential deficiency apparent in your research articles to justify the research.

Identify articles that support or detract from existing research to justify the research study.

The Assignment:

Identify the companies whose annual reports you are comparing and include the links in your paper.
Compare and contrast the information contained in the annual reports you were assigned.
Explain how the information contained in the annual reports relate to the image you have of the organization as a whole.
Explain how the financial statements, auditor’s opinion, and footnotes are similar and how they are different in effectively conveying the position of the organization.
Provide 2–3 clear and in-depth examples to justify your perspective, drawing upon information from the reports you reviewed.
Be sure to use citations and related reference materials as appropriate.

Part 2

In a 1-page internal memo, invite a small team of fellow employees to a strategic planning meeting to discuss planning strategies for the annual community outreach festival. Because this will be a relatively informal and highly anticipated meeting, include tasteful graphics, and use a cordial and professional tone. The format must follow general business writing guidelines. For instance, single-space and left-justify paragraphs, double-space between paragraphs, do not indent paragraphs, and so on.

Write a 2-page paper that includes an explanation of the types of behaviors you observed in the two clients profiled in the media program. Explain your reasoning for any behavior that you observed that could be a sign of drug use. Use the Learning Resources to justify your position. Based on the observations you have made, explain whether you need to refer this client to another professional on the service team and why?

From the scenario, the Industrial Revolution created many changes in American society. Imagine yourself as an “average” person at the time who worked on a farm or in one of the new factories, and consider at least two advantages and two disadvantages the new industries brought to your life.
Compare and contrast one of the men who made a fortune in the Industrial Revolution (i.e., Rockefeller, Carnegie) with someone who has made a fortune in today’s technology revolution (perhaps Steve Jobs or Bill Gates or Mark Zuckerberg). Areas to consider might include their socio-economic backgrounds, how they developed their business models, their charitable donations (and motivations), their treatment of workers (at all levels), and their involvement with anti-trust or other similar issues. In considering Constantinople’s Hagia Sophia, describe the primary techniques that the architects used to keep such a large dome from collapsing.
