For my research paper, I want to write about the topic of suicide in the elderly. I want to study about this topic because I never really thought about suicide being an issue in older people, I always thought that was more of a problem for young people. My problem statement is to expose that suicide is very real among the elderly and I will research the risk factors, sign and symptoms, assessments, and follow-up and referral for the elder suicide patient.
