Leadership model

As a nurse leader, it is important to understand a variety of leadership models and styles. This will help you adapt to different settings and apply strategies to support and inspire others. It may also be necessary to apply models in different professional settings to satisfy certification requirements.

This assignment is composed of two parts, a graphic organizer and a written paper.

Part I: Graphic Organizer

Research five leadership models and styles. One model must be transformational leadership.

Design a graphic organizer to compare servant leadership with the other models. Consider how these models or styles bring about organizational, team, or individual change or growth. How do leaders implement each of the models and how do they fit with your personal beliefs?

Part II: Personal Model of Leadership Paper

Write a 1,000-1,250 word paper about your personal model of leadership, including the following:

How may your personal model of leadership be applied in your professional setting?
How does your personal model of leadership compare to the models you researched for the graphic organizer?
Does your personal model follow the lines of servant leadership or transformational leadership?

Develop a professional job search strategy incorporating research of companies or industries

Write a 6-10 paragraph biography on Niels Bohr and cite 2 sources

Write a paragraph Providing some interesting points about Google as a company.

Answer the following questions thoroughly and then respond to at least two classmates. Follow the discussion rubric found in the syllabus folder.

How does economic poverty influence the exercise of sovereignty?
Explain the types of government organization that were considered during the independence stage.
After reading Caudillo-Politics by Wolf and Hanson, what struck you as the most important or most intersting part of the reading and why?

Chapter 3 Independence

This week we are looking at the changing reality of Latin America from from the colonial times to the new republics.

Answer both discussion questions thoroughly and then respond to at least two of your classmates. Follow the discussion rubric and post your first response by Wednesday.

Who benefited and who lost as a result of the political change from colony to nation?
Why did independence affirm rather than change the basic patterns of society?

Inventory Planning

Given the uncertainty of fan demand associated with a team or player, how should a manufactured of sports apparel like Reebok approach inventory planning? What happens when a player or team suddenly loses their fan base?
Push-Pull

Compare and contrast the push-pull strategy used in supply chain management and in what specific ways can it impact the manufacturing process?

Walmart Organization Paper

Identify a specific change that you feel should occur to Wal-Mart organization.

Requirements:

Assignment Objectives

Describe the forces of globalization and its implications for the multinational firm.

Interpret the operation of the international financial system, its current state, and challenges for the future.

Summarize different types of foreign exchange exposure faced by the MNC. Identification and measurement of these risks

Explain the structure of international financial markets and institutions and the range of instruments traded therein.
