Imagine that you have been hired as a contractor by a local business that has recently purchased new office space for its growing business. Design a network for the local business based on the following information: The business has approximately fifty (50) employees, and the new office space will stretch across the third and fifth floors of a building. The fourth floor is currently occupied by another tenant.

Losses from drips and leaks can form a significant but often overlooked use of water in the home. While slow drips and small leaks can seem inconsequential, the water losses incurred from these sources over time can be rather large, as was shown in the background material provided above from EPA. To examine how much water can be lost this way we’ll be using a “drip calculator” from the American Water Works Association. You are part of a team made up of the warden and assistant wardens of a medium-to-large close-security prison. You know inmates tend to riot or have sit-ins over the subject of food and medical care. You have been receiving information from your correctional officers that the inmates are starting to complain about the food. The chicken is not thoroughly cooked, the food is bland, and several inmates who have dietary restrictions are having problems with the kitchen staff. You want to stop things before they escalate into a full-blown problem.

• Laissez-faire style: This is very different than the authoritarian style in which there exists a void of any type of leadership and everyone does as they please.
