(The article for analysis 1 is a good example of how to outline each of your instruments.) 2) You will also explain why you chose this tool, explaining why it is of value, and in fact, of more value than other, existing instruments. In the process, you should include various details about your instrument–who developed it, the purpose that it serves, how it should be used, who it should be used on, etc. You could also discuss ethical and logistical issues here. Is it more ethical than other measures? You can include as many instruments as is needed for your research proposal, and this may include existing instruments as well as new instruments that you develop. However, as mentioned in the previous assignment, at least one of the instruments/measures used here must be an existing tool with existing research assessing its validity and reliability. For any existing tools, you must report associated validation and reliability data on these tools, if applicable, as discussed in chapter 8. You can find data of these type by searching for these tools in research article search engines. 3) You must include copies of the instruments in an appendix.
