This writing assignment is a formal essay, meaning it should represent your best efforts and be appropriate for a college class. It is expected that this essay will follow MLA format, be doubled- spaced, use Times or Times New Roman 12-pt, include a thesis statement supported by evidence, and be as free of surface- level and grammatical errors as possible.
