Write about your experience with a dead-end job and use bits of remembered conversation, things you remember your boss telling you, and things you remember saying, as well as things co-workers said to you and to each other.
A good approach is to pick one day and just write about that one day from the time you woke and got yourself to work, to the time you quit work.
Another alternative is to write about the day you quit or got fired (if that happened to you) and why and how that happened and how it felt.
The important thing is to get to the “feelings” inside of the narrator who while working is day dreaming a better life and a different job. Interior thoughts, interior dialog, inner conflict.
