Outline of Assignment:1. Interview a minimum of two persons over the age of 65 years: one in the young-old (65+) category and one in the old-old (75+) category. Using these same questions, provide your responses as to what your ideal leisure lifestyle will be when you are in your retirement years.2. Ask a minimum of six well developed questions that will provide you with information on the role that leisure has played in their later lives and the role leisure will play in your later life.3. Develop questions that will elaborate on their participation patterns and explain their involvement in the current four main categories of leisure opportunities (education, travel, volunteering, fitness and sport).4. Using the information youve learned in class, provide an explanation for the differences in leisure lifestyle for the different generations.5. The final portion of your essay will describe your thoughts on the role that leisure should play in life as we age and the responsibility that you, as a recreation therapist, must play in providing a positive effect on the quality of life of seniors.6. Include the list of the questions that you asked your interviewees and their responses.
