The minimum requirements for sources are five monographs and five scholarly articles.. Please note that the number of monographs cannot substitute that of articles and the other way around. The research paper should include the following aspects: What sources did you use? How are you going to proceed or what aspects are you going to examine? What is your main thesis or topic question? What arguments do you advance to prove your thesis or answer the topic question? What are the main arguments put forth in the works you are consulting? Are their arguments convincing? Here you are expected to put forward your own thoughts and analysis and state why you find their arguments sound or not. You are recommended to take a side and try to convince the readers of your point. The written works must be analytic and expository. All works must be typed in Standard English, clear and organized, and free of grammatical and spelling errors. Ideas taken from other peoples works must be so acknowledged in footnotes. The paper must include a title page and a bibliography. These pages do NOT count as text pages. Use 1 inch margins on all sides for the text pages, use 12 pt font (Times New Roman) for the main text and 10 pt font for footnotes.
