2. (a) What is the preference view that Kagan mentions (explain what you take the view to consist in)? What is the problem with the preference view (i.e. the worry about objective goods)?
(b) Kagan suggests a view well-being which involves both subjective pleasure and objective well-being. Please explain his view (what does well-being consist in?) and his reasons for adopting it. Do you agree?
