B. When finding a historical figure, keep in mind the following things: sources, relevance to issues of sovereignty, and your interest in the individual.

Also, remember to look at databases that search through academic articles, I will list these below.

Remember, a thesis is not re-stating the question but rather you should mention specifically the methods used and the kind of impact it had. The thesis should not be vague or allude to an answer later in the paper, the thesis is the answer given upfront. Then body of the paper is spent proving and supporting the thesis. C. The essay should be three to five pages, double-spaced and written in a number 12 font size. Remember to include footnote/endnote citations and a
bibliography. This essay must follow the same writing format and guidelines as the book review essay.
