For what reasons did American public opinion turn against Wilson in 1919, and why was he ultimately unsuccessful in selling the Treaty to the American people?
Using the steps for strategic planning, discuss how you think the plan should have developed. Which steps were not developed fully enough? How do you think implementation would have gone differently if all steps had been fully developed?

Please start by watching the Patent Basics video then reading Chapter 6 of Fundamentals of Patenting and Licensing for Scientist and Engineers, and then familiarize yourself with Section 112 of the patent laws (35 USC 112) which defines claims. While you watch the video, think about what claims you could write on your own invention. In one paragraph (100-200 words), explain specifically how the dependent claims reference the independent claim(s). Do the dependent claims broaden the scope of the patent or make it more specific? In one to two paragraphs (200-400 words), describe if any of the claims contain language that you could easily circumvent. Understanding how to write claims that are broad but also precise in meaning is a difficult concept for many individuals starting to draft patents. Before drafting your claims, start by picking three specific objects that might be in your invention; for example, a color LCD touch screen. Provide a broad description for these objects that is also specific to the object’s function. You could describe the color LCD touch screen as an interactive user interface, or split the object’s description into two parts, a user interface and a display to relay information to the user. Remember, even wording the description as a display with touch interface could allow someone to navigate around your patent by having buttons or some other interface under a display.After analyzing the claims of prior art and examples in the Patent Basics video, draft the independent and dependent claims for your invention. Remember, the strength of your claims is based off the wording, not the number of claims. You must make your claims as broad as possible without infringing on other patents. In order to broaden your claims, you should minimize the number of elements in your claim while maximizing the scope of each element. Read two articles about a products positive or negative marketing strategy. Summarize the marketing strategy used and whether it was a success or failure. Include marketing concepts relevant to the outcome also don’t forget to include your own opinion on the marketing strategy.
Search for articles that will help you formulate and support your thesis for your Toulmin argument (essay #2). You will also need to find at least one source that represents an alternative or opposing argument. Compile a list of the five sources most relevant to your essay and describe them in your annotated bibliography. These can include sources that you have already discussed in your first essay. Your sources must include:at least one peer-reviewed academic article that you will use to support your claim or one of your premises.

Create a reference entry (author, date, title, etc.) for each source in APA format and, below each one, create an annotation (descriptive paragraph) for each source that does the following in approximately 5-7 sentences:It must summarize the main argument (conclusion and at least one premise) of the source.
It must assess the article’s source and purpose. What is the author’s or publisher’s goal (besides informing people)? Who is the target audience? Does that affect how the article is written? How credible is this source? Is it peer-reviewed?
It must explain how you intend to use the article in your essay. Does it support your claim or one of your premises? Be specific. Is it an opposing argument that you will need to contradict? Is it a mischaracterization of the issue that you will need to correct? Does it help to demonstrate the exigence or constraints of the rhetorical situation?
Each annotation should answer these three questions in a total of approximately 5-7 sentences. Do not simply repeat information in the published abstract. Plagiarism in the annotations is still plagiarism, and it will result in a failing grade for the assignment. Format requirements-Double-spaced, size 11 or 12 standard font
