Compare or contrast your personal view on the causes with the resistance Maggiali encountered! Please explain!

Describe your product concept, and explain the rationale of selecting it. This should have happened after the team has compiled and discussed all ideas from individual team members (Appendix 1). o What is the issue you are addressing with your product?

Why is it important and to whom? o Define your value proposition (use Value Proposition Canvas) o Elaborate on the advantages of your product; identify potential concerns o Search the web and patent databases for similar products; report on similar inventions, using either Googles Patent Search and/or http://google.com/patents or US Patent Office database http://www.uspto.gov. Provide a summary of your search results (table). o Define primary and secondary functions of the product o Discuss your product potential for customization and/or personalization o Elaborate on the desired features that differentiate your product from others (existing products). o What are the key differences between your product and any potential competing products? Who makes them (competition)? 2 Describe the market of your product and the customers (this section reports only preliminary information) o Which countries are you targeting (e.g., one should be from consumer economy, another from either emerging or survival economies)? o Who are your customers in each market? o What need(s) these customers have in the product features that you offer? o Why the customers prefer to buy the product from you and not your competitors? o What is the total market value of products of this type (rough estimate)? o What is the market share that you expect to capture? o What impact would your product/service have (e.g., environmental, happiness, etc.), if successful?

Why Sustainability is important in Today’s Business

Hi, I have this massive interest of doing an extensive research on the business sustainability particularly on the environmental sustainability. my concern in this research would be ; 1. what is the sustainability practices / actions taken by companies ? Global & Local companies 2.What is the consumer’s perceptions on the eco-friendly initiative taken by companies to maintain the brand reputation ? 3. Why is the gaps within companies for not following the sustainability practice ? My findings through some of the articles is ; 1. In the past, companies both FDI and local companies didnt consider more greener alternatives . 2.Business that have environmental sustainability can build a reputation with consumer as eco-friendly . 3.Only 25% of consumer behavior is led by reputation . 4. To find new solutions for Sustainability Business 5.Awareness and Activism around environmental issues increases, thus business that are proactive building sustainability are most likely to succeed . This is what I have in my mind , but not sure how to put this into a proper format . I’m proposing this research to Australian Universities thus most of the universities required a proposal prior to application . Furthermore, i do not have the research format from any universities . Thus I believe this research proposal will have all the elements . The title is just for sake of filling the format above , however if this needs to be more professional , pls help. meantime, I’m not sure whether to focus only Global companies (FDI) or to include both global and local impacts .. All the above is just a points that came out from my mind, but i trust the writer can make this possible . Thanks.

Identify the key risks/issues that may arise during the process of carrying out the research proposal, and how they will be managed/addressed.

THE BRIEF The purpose of this research proposal is to be the prelude to my dissertation to find out the acceptance of Electric Vehicle (EV) among people in Southeast Asia (Indonesia in particular). I am planning to do survey to public to understand more what trigger them to shift to EV, what is the consideration and what prevent them from shifting (from conventional to EV cars). The idea is that the analysis can be used by car producers or government to be the base to take action in pushing EV effort in the country. It also can be a basic consideration for these stakeholders on their judgement of how long before EV can be implemented in the cities across Indonesia. Since I do not know the survey method, the best questions to ask or the method to do this analysis, I will let you choose the right way that suit this project the most. It is also your call to gear the project toward pure or applied research based on your judgement. Feel free to use reference from sources that you think are appropriate. For the basic understanding of EV, I found this doctoral thesis is quite comprehensive: https://www.diva-portal.org/smash/get/diva2:854203/fulltext01.pdf Below you can find the detail instruction from the institution: DETAIL INSTRUCTION The assignment are to prepare a proposal for an individual research project that could be completed within a period of about three (3) months of full-time effort, or about six (6) months on a half-time schedule. The project could be primarily academic (i.e pure research) and address a problem through research intended to develop greater understanding of an element of that problem. Alternatively, the project could look to solve a practical problem (i.e. applied research) perhaps from your workplace where an actionable solution is the desired output. Instructions Whichever option is chosen for pursuit, the elements of the proposal, and ultimate project write-up, are the same how they are framed or addressed may be different. These elements are presented in the following template. Whilst this template is divided into sub-headings, students should consider the proposal as a whole. Each part of this template is expected to be addressed, but need not be done so in the order they appear here, provided the logic and communication of the proposal is clear. For a pure research proposal, research questions should link to gaps identified in the overview of research area/literature review. For an applied research proposal, the background to practical questions should also be developed to clearly state their relevance and importance. The research design, data collection, and analysis methods proposed should be appropriate to addressing the identified problem and answering the questions posed. As part of the design, the main potential ethical and/or other risk issues should be acknowledged, along with briefly identifying how they could be managed. The proposal will be assessed based on strength and consistency of argument, quality of theoretical/practical justification, and appropriateness of the studys proposed design (including expected data collection methods) with respect to stated objectives and research questions/hypotheses/propositions. Limits & Document Formatting Expectations 1. Length: the proposal will be five (5) sides of A4 paper (i.e. your proposal will finish on somewhere on page five). Proposals longer or shorter than five pages will be deemed to have not met requirements and may be penalised. The list of references is excluded from this page limit and will begin on page six; there is no limit to the number of pages permitted for references. 2. Formatting: standard MS Word. Margins will be 1″/2.5cm all round; the font of the main body text will be 12pt in size. Font will be Arial, Calibri, Cambria, or Times New Roman. Section headers may be a different font or font size. 3. Referencing: a Harvard-style (i.e. author-date) format will be used (as a prelude to this being a requirement for the Dissertation). Assessment Criteria Submission are be assessed within the Universitys Postgraduate Common Marking Scheme, using the criteria as summarised below: Presentation and structure: The report and its contents are presented in a clear and logical manner, and demonstrates imagination, creativity, and originality of thought. Argument and understanding: Demonstration of understanding of the topic and associated issues via effective and sustained argument. Criticality and analysis: Demonstration of critical analysis, including original, creative, and independent thought. Use of sources and evidence: Use of literature/data/other evidence to support statements and conclusions. Recognition of limitations of sources and evidence, and its impact on conclusions that may be drawn. Referencing: Complete, consistent, and accurate application of citing and referencing conventions in the main text and reference list. Communication: Clarity of communication, including subject specific language, that is appropriate for the intended audience________________________________________ Typical Sections to Include Introduction to Topic/Research Area & Literature Review: Provide an overview of the proposed area of research, drawing upon key publications, to introduce, give the context for, and frame the proposed study. The Introduction and Literature Review frames the proposed research, demonstrates it has novelty, and will thus add to existing knowledge. Present a critical analysis of the relevant body of literature for the topic and research problem. Distil and synthesise the existing literature to draw insights, critical comments, conclusions, and/or theoretical inconsistencies. Purpose Statement & Research Question/Hypotheses: Clearly communicate why research into the identified problem is important the purpose/aim and possible contributions/beneficiaries of the research outputs. Be specific of the questions/hypotheses to be asked to achieve the stated purpose. Methods (Research Design, Methods of Data Collection, and Data Analysis): Present the design and methods that will be used to address the purpose of the research. Ensure it is clear why such an approach is appropriate with respect to your problem/questions to deliver valid and reliable research. This could include (but may not be limited to) such information as: study design; how will research questions be answered and validity ensured/maximised; data required and how that data will be collected or otherwise obtained; equipment necessary (if any), and if so, where will it be obtained; how will the data be analysed. Ethical / Fieldwork / other Risk issues: [1] Such issues may include (but are not necessarily limited to): involvement of human subjects; overseas travel/fieldwork; ethical issues and their management; financial resources and their sourcing; etc.
