Describe the relevant financial parameters for any real option(s) (see Table 6.6; you do not need to calculate the present value of cash flows, but explain, briefly, how you would) Are there any other strategic considerations would affect your decision that you cannot capture in an ROA or real options analysis?

Note: reliance on outside material will result in inaccurate and/or irrelevant responses. You are not expected to do research on the company outside of the information presented here. For this case, please see the summary document (“Nucor Case Study.pdf”) You can also use the Calculation Template workbook posted to evaluate the investment proposed in the case study (it is not required though) After reading the case respond to the following prompts: As stated in the case Nucors evaluation of investments is centered around achieving a requisite ROA of 25% within five year of implementation. Under the circumstances described in the fifth year of the project (the third year operating the plant), annual cash flow for the plant is $60,970,000. Would Nucor pursue the project? Do you see any problems with Nucors criteria? What types of real option(s) would be generated through Nucors investment at the new plant (see pages 156-158 and the 1st column of Table 6.1 in your textbook)? Describe each real option you identify (in one sentences each; see the 2nd column of Table 6.1). Ultimately, how would you recommend Nucor evaluate potential projects in the future (your proposed should be analytical, but can include subjective, non-quantitive considerations)?

Summarize the article you selected and assess how you could use the information to improve workflow within your organization.

Understanding Workflow Design As you explored last week, the implementation of a new technology can dramatically affect the workflow of an organization. Newly implemented technologies can initially limit the productivity of users as they adjust to their new tools. Such implementations tend to be so significant that they often require workflows to be redesigned in order to achieve improvements in safety and patient outcomes. However, before workflows can be redesigned, they must first be analyzed. This analysis includes each step in completing a certain process. Some systems duplicate efforts or contain unnecessary steps that waste time and money and could even jeopardize patient health care. By reviewing and modifying the workflow, you enable greater productivity. This drive to implement new technologies has elevated the demand for nurses who can perform workflow analysis. In this Discussion, you explore resources that have been designed to help guide you through the process of workflow assessment. To prepare: Take a few minutes and peruse the information found in the article Workflow Assessment for Health IT Toolkit listed in this weeks Learning Resources. As you check out the information located on the different tabs, identify key concepts that you could use to improve a workflow in your own organization and consider how you could use them. Go the Research tab and identify and read one article that is of interest to you and relates to your specialty area. By Day 3 Post a summary of three different concepts you found in Workflow Assessment for Health IT Toolkit that would help in redesigning a workflow in the organization in which you work (or one with which you are familiar) and describe how you would apply them. Finally, evaluate the importance of monitoring the effect of technology on workflow.

From your viewing of the assigned video #1, C.S. Lewis and Intelligent Design, isolate 3 different and distinct arguments that C.S. Lewis makes that point to the fact that the entire universe had to have been created by a Divine Intelligent Agent, Who is above and outside of the universe itself.

Allow each separately numbered part below to be one paragraph in your overall post. Just make one overall post. Do not enter separate original posts for each sections below.
In order to continue our look at the reality of God’s existence and lay our foundation for discussing who the human person is, as we enter into our consideration of what constitutes a good, ethical choice, our assignments this week included a video on the thought of C. S. Lewis regarding what is called Intelligent Design. Intelligent Design points out exactly why the universe, including the human person, cannot have evolved as a random process of natural selection propelled by material forces within nature itself. Rather, Intelligent Design shows us with the use of our reason and logic that we can observe for ourselves that only a Divine, All-Powerful, Intelligent Agent and Person could have created the entire universe, including the human person.
After you have isolated these 3 arguments, explain in detail, quoting from the video, how Lewis arrives at these conclusions. Please number your 3 arguments and their explanations as Argument #1, Argument #2, and Argument #3.
Question 2) From your viewing of the assigned video #3, Without God, there are no Moral truths, name and discuss 3 key points/arguments that you learned, which stand out for your as being very important for the study of Ethics, i.e., the study of what is right vs. what is wrong in regards to human behavior. Please watch these videos
