The research questions focus mostly on if and how undocumented women can get social services (in a broad sense). The topic is important and voices a group under a lot of pressure in the US, not the least under the political administration of today. The author shall have credit for bringing this important question to study and it can be an important contribution to the learning of the situation for people living with undocumented status in the US and elsewhere. However the thesis does not feel fully finished. It has both issues in relation to content and to structure that needs to be corrected before it will pass a new examination. In the following bullets I have tried to describe what needs to be changed in the new version. 1. Aims and objectives
The aims and objectives are not clear. There are many aims and objectives presented on page 8 and 9. They are not the same as the once presented in the abstract. Please try to make them uniform and more clear.
The same goes for the research questions. A new one is presented o page 50 (what were the push factors etc)2. Important concepts and definitions
a) One of the aims has to do with the impact of the new immigration policies (RQ 1). Still are these polices never described. Do so. What are the new policies? And what is legal and not according to the law and the policies for unaccompanied migrants in the US, when it comes to the use of social services. (on page 50 you call these draconian immigration laws)b) The author uses social services in a wider meaning than only the social services from social workers perhaps this should be noted more explicitly in the definition of terms. c) Please change the definition of migration policies p 10 and I do not think it is necessary to define words such as selectivity, higher risk for the abuse and violence. And when it comes to poverty, please make a more distinct definition (do you mean relative poverty or absolute poverty or any other frequently used definition) 3. Methods
a) The methods section needs a chapter of its own. Now there are method descriptions in different places.
b) You need to make refences in the method section when you make postulations such as: qualitative research approach has a higher likelihood of being prejudice ridden
c) The methods used are not properly described. You say 8 individual interviews on one place, but from the attachment it is clear you also did a group interview. Focus groups are also made. What did you do and how did you do it? 4. Theory and literature review
There is repetition in the literature review section where exactly the same text comes again. (See for examples page 12-13 and 16-17). It goes on on page 18 and 19 too. Control read this and change. 5. Language and style of writing
Please proof read the text once more.
Check Study guide to see how citations (and especially longer citations) should be written. 6. References
a) The text lacks references in the text. When for instance on page 7 the author write: Numerous studies on social support have been conducted . Then there should be a reference to at least one such study. This happens in many places in the tex at least three times just on that page.
b) The reference list is not in alphabetical order
c) The reference list is not (always) written according to the study guide. Check it again!7. StructureThe theses needs a more clear structure. The position of the method chapter has already been mentioned. But please use the same style of different levels of subheadings, see Study guide page 11.
Two weeks ago a large fire tore through a multi-family apartment building and the response to the incident including the strategy and tactics have come into question. Specifically, a lack of understanding of the building construction and how to handle fires that have extended into large common attic spaces without fire walls was identified. Four firefighters were transported to the hospital after a section of lightweight truss collapsed and trapped them for a period of time. They had to be freed by the Rapid Intervention Team.
Review the departments Rapid Intervention guidelines and draft a 45 page paper that includes the following:
Describe at least five fire prevention strategies tied to a building’s construction and occupancy
Include at least one recommendation you think is necessary in implementing a primary factors size up chart to use during incidents, explaining why this will increase firefighter safety.
You and your partner have been working tirelessly to complete your project in time for the big board meeting presentation. Unfortunately, two days before the board meeting you became ill and were unable to complete your portion of the project, or even attend the board meeting to present your findings. However, your partner not only completed the project, but also presented it to the board, while constantly referencing your involvement. The success of the project has earned both you and your partner a raise. As you are unable to thank you partner in person, write a goodwilled message to your partner to express your appreciation. /10

First, choose a question that you relates to your major that you could use Quantitative Methods to measure and analyze. Refer to the questions below for potential examples. Then, using those sources, compose a paper of at least 1,200 words that includes a problem statement that describes the question you want to be answered and provides robust background information on that topic. Be sure to include in-text citations of at least two external sources that meet academic standards (newspapers, journal articles, etc.); using resources in SHARC, such as ProQuest, is strongly encouraged.
Example Questions
Do employees think that the workplace is so uncivil that they plan to leave soon?
Is the Affordable Care Act impacting healthcare in a positive or negative way?
Remember, you are free to choose your topic, so think carefully about not only the subject matter but also how you plan to measure responses to this issue and who you plan to survey. You are encouraged to pick a topic that interests you but can also be analyzed appropriately, so feel free to e-mail your instructor with ideas if you require additional guidance.
