Research reimbursement rates for various treatment modalities. Compare NP rates to other provider rates.

Reimbursement rates and medical coding can be almost as complicated as treating some mental illnesses. As a PMHNP, you will be faced with varying rates that may be different than other health care providers you may work with. In this Practicum Journal Assignment, you will analyze reimbursement rates for mental health treatments you will likely use in your practice and compare those rates to other provider rates. To prepare for this Practicum Journal: Research reimbursement rates for various treatment modalities. Compare NP rates to other provider rates. For this Practicum Journal: Complete the Reimbursement Rate Template in your Learning Resources using the five types of services you are likely to use in your practice. Required Readings Sadock, B. Write a 3- to 4-page literature review that includes the following:A synthesis of what the studies reveal about the current state of knowledge on the question that you developed Point out inconsistencies and contradictions in the literature and offer possible explanations for inconsistencies.

Using the question you selected in your Week 2 Project (Part 1 of the Course Project), locate 5 or more full-text research articles that are relevant to your PICOT question. Include at least 1 systematic review and 1 integrative review if possible. Use the search tools and techniques mentioned in your readings this week to enhance the comprehensiveness and objectivity of your review. You may gather these articles from any appropriate source, but make sure at least 3 of these articles are available as full-text versions through Walden Librarys databases.

First generation South Americans Hardships in the US

The only thing is getting participants that might be difficult but you can honestly interview anything who is an immigrant to develop the questionnaire form. TOPIC: My research proposal is seeing how difficult it was for 1st generation of Hispanics in United States to get healthcare due to language barrier. How they have to come here – usually illegally and suffer violence and get ill and they don’t understand the language. Women didnt have a good support system here due to lack of family and friends since they didnt established anything. What are the troubles that 1st generations Hispanics face here in the US? What are the obstacles that prevent them from getting healthcare is it due to language that disqualifies them from jobs that offer healthcare? Is it poor community help that prevents them from learning about resources like food stamps and governments assistances? They don’t have means of transportation that causes them to not get to where they need to. It will be a qualitative research, so there will have to be participants. Please note, this will have to be Harvard style.

How are modern forms of work such as the gig economy changing the nature of work?

Read the attached Financial Times article on the gig economy. Using theory from the term and the article, answer the following question:
How are modern forms of work such as the gig economy changing the nature of work?
Pick two of the following topics in your answer:
Organisational structure
Organisational culture
Groups and teams
Identity work
Organisational ethics
Discusses the gig economy
organisational model where the company does not employ the provider (i.e. the driver) but partners with them (i.e. self-employed like a freelancer)
The organisations argue their service is the app which connects people, for example Ubers says they connect drivers and riders through on-demand transport technology (Uber, https://www.uber.com/en-GB/about/how-does-uber-work/)
Number of companies use this business model, some examples include Uber, Deliveroo, Airbnb, Elance, Ubereats
Self-employed or employees?
Partners choose when they will be working
During that time, they are managed through their smartphones no direct line management
Specific criteria for how fast they need to respond or how quickly they need to do a task
Also uses customer feedback
These are combined into an algorithm that gives them a score, and to work they cannot go below a specific score
Rates of pay are managed by the company
Consider how this business model is different and similar to those we have studied in the module (Scientific management, bureaucracy, post-bureaucratic, the human relations approach)
Pick two of the topics and discuss how these changes can be seen by using theory from the term
Use examples of the gig economy, quoting the article and doing further research (*using good academic sources)
Use examples from the term to compare it to, and use theory from the module to analyse these changes
*good academic sources include journal articles, books, trade articles, news stories and the company websites
*avoid using Wikipedia or general websites as you cannot confirm the information is correct
