introduce the book The Grapes of Wrath and author in the first or second sentence of the introduction. Your book review must be at least 2000 words in length.

Do not use direct quotes. Paraphrase from the novel and cite the page numbers. The easiest way to cite sources is to use MLA parenthetical citations that includes the author’s last name and page number (Mayer 199). Every paragraph of your essay/analysis needs to have MLA citations from the novel except for the intro and the conclusion.. Your first paragraph must contain a series of causal arguments that you intend to historically prove in the text of your essay. Be sure to formally introduce the author and the book in the first couple of sentences of your introduction. Then identify the main themes of the book and explain why they are important. You need to tell the reader what caused what to happen, when and why. Never pose rhetorical questions in your essay. Rhetorical questions are cheap literary devices that make your writing style non-assertive and give the reader the impression that you are not in control of your essay or the material. Immediately give the reader your overall causal argument, and then, in succeeding sentences of your first paragraph list supporting arguments in chronological order. The supporting arguments should be chronological in order and build on each other. The topic sentences of your paragraphs must do more than simply describe what the paragraph is about, they must also state why the paragraph is important to the overall argument of your essay. In other words, the topic sentence summarizes the paragraph, but also links it back to one of the supporting arguments that you listed in your introductory paragraph. You must have dates or at least periodize in almost every paragraph. Paragraphs should be one-third to one-half page in length.

Provide your analysis of the gap between theory and practice (industry literature can help show the state of practice and help you determine the gaps compared with the scholarly literature).
Outline the root cause of this gap and include the effect of the gap. Whom or what does it impact? Is it a positive or negative impact?

Aisha is 43-year-old African American woman who began treatment her divorce. She has been in treatment for the past 4 years. Aishas presenting problems include suicidal ideation due to her depressive mood. Aisha has a young son named Josh, who is also in treatment because she fears that her depressive spells have negatively impacted her son. Josh struggles in school with behavioral problems and has poor peer relationships. Aisha is a single mother and often struggles to make ends meet financially. Aisha also struggles with mental resources available to raise her son and attend to all his needs, such as consistently getting him to school and therapy sessions on time. Over the course of time, Aishas therapist (YOU) realized that she exhibits bipolar criteria. During a depressive episode, Aisha made a failed suicide attempt. When YOU (her therapist) inquired about her motive behind her suicide attempt, Aisha reported that she felt as if her son would be better off without her. She reported that she feels that she cannot do anything right and was not worthy of the time and love of others.
Overtime Aisha recovered from her depressive mood and has a more positive outlook on life despite having the same challenges financially. Aisha is currently seeing a physician on a regular basis. She expressed to her physician and interest in losing weight, and as a result her physician prescribed to Aisha a weight-loss pill that contains amphetamines. Aishas therapist assumes that her physician is unware of her mental health condition, otherwise he might not have prescribed amphetamines which is known to worsen psychosis (unusual thoughts or behavior), especially in patients known to have a history of depression, mental illness, or bipolar disorder.
After four years of therapy, Aisha has communicated to you that she would like to stop treatment. As her therapist, you have concerns about her safety and the safety of her son. Detail what you feel would be the best ethical course of action to address the concerns involving your patient. Criteria
– Think of the case of Aisha a current case, in which you need to determine how to handle the dilemmas that arise throughout the time she is in your care.
– Include how your concerns and actions are influenced by the Principles of Good Decision Making? Explain how.
– Make sure you clearly identify the ethical issues in the case and detail how you ethically address them.
o What steps would you take in order to address?
o With whom do you need to communicate with?
o Is there a need for a safety plan?
o Is there opportunity to provide psycho education, and if so, what information would you share?

To accomplish this project you will need to use two sources. The first is the Hype Cycles article by Michael Mullany that is posted in the Other Materials folder.

The second is the ProQuest tool that is available from the library. (Go to the Library and select Databases. Choose Databases by Type and select News. Select Canadian Newsstream and what opens is ProQuest.Hype Cycles have received much attention over the last few decades. They purport to describe the process of technology adoption. The article explains the Gartner Hype Curve, assesses its usefulness, and presents all the technologies from the last 15 Cycles. You are to look at the technologies and choose one. You should then go to ProQuest and search the technology:Source Technology (the one you pick)All dates (which turns out to be 2003-2018)All source typesAll document typesThe search will return a total number of articles and by clicking on the bars in the associated bar graph you can get the number of articles per year. On the right will be the list of articles for you to look at. You must pick a technology that returns at least 20 articles.Submitting PaperOnce you have the data you should write and submit a paper with the following structure:
Part 1: Pages 1-2 (More than 1 full page and less than 2 full pages) A description of the technology that explains what type of technology it is and how it works.Part 2: Pages 2-3 (More than 1 full page and less than 2 full pages) Where this technology appears on the Hype Cycles (what years and the positions each year)Part 3: Pages 3-4 (More than 1 full page and less than 3 full pages) Describe the ProQuest results for the technology. Do they follow the general shape of the Hype Cycle? What types of articles did the search return (did they discuss the technology for example or did they only mention the technology)?

The swarm must decide what deliverable they want to make with their data. A link to the final deliverable must be submitted on November 30th by 23:00. Only one deliverable will be accepted for each swarm. The swarm deliverable will be assessed based on organization, originality, aesthetics, the amount of the total data represented.Everyone in a swarm receives the same grade for the swarm part of the swarm project except for those folks who do not submit their data to their Swarm Forum. They will get a zero. The swarm data submission is due by November 23 at 23:00 but the swarm can decide to have an earlier deadline. The swarm should let me know of a new deadline. Note: On November 23 there are two submissions: the paper plus Data Template to the Individual Assignment drop box and the Data Template to your Swarm Forum.Everyone in a swarm is expected to contribute some effort to the swarm activity along with their data. This activity will be assessed, if necessary, by consulting the logs of the swarm forum. No evidence of activity on the swarm forum other than the submission of Part 6 may result in a grade penalty.
