FIN 610 Banking Issues Rubric
Throughout this course, you will be presented with three short papers. These activities will allow you to apply the principles and concepts from your readings to workplace practice situations. You are encouraged to think “outside of the box” when completing these activities, exploring and researching all opportunities possible. Review the evaluation criteria in the rubric that highlights grading information below.
Prompt: As a finance manager, you must select the best option for your company’s banking needs. You have two options to consider: a service fee banking model or a holding balance banking model. Choose one and discuss the following:
Why did you choose this particular model? Support your decision.
What other issues would you consider when selecting a bank with the intent to do business?
What will you do to maintain a good relationship with the bank you choose?
Requirements of submission: Short paper assignments must follow these formatting guidelines: double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and discipline-appropriate citations (APA format). Page length requirements: 3-5 pages. Incorporate at least two scholarly resources.
