Provide background information of the school / class-location, number of students, and grade levels. (Administrator who oversees and, or ESL/Bilingual teacher). Ask them about the program model they have adopted and the advantages and disadvantages from their viewpoint. This is key. 3. Select two education related journal articles published in the last five years that support the school’s program for second language learners (i.e. school has a Bilingual program/ your articles topic should be bilingual education). Analyze the strengths and weakness of the actual program and make sure to refer to/cite your sources in the body of your analysis. 4. Review and develop a recommendation of three different instructional approaches (not specific strategies) and/or methods that you recommend would be appropriate for that population of ELLs. Make sure you address the cognitive and affective factors as they relate to your recommendations and elaborations on each method/approach.5.
