What is a notifiable disease? Include website/s with information about notifiable diseases in Australia

About one third of the worlds population carry tuberculosis (TB) mycobacteria. Only between 10 and 20 per cent of those people will go on to develop active tuberculosis disease. Sometimes the disease can progress for weeks or months before it is suspected. In the course of a year, someone with active TB can spread the disease to up to 15 people, and without proper treatment, around 10 of that group may die. In Australia, around 1,200 cases are reported each year, 85 per cent of which are in migrant populations. The key to controlling TB is early identification, treating it with antibiotics and tracing those who have had close contact with the TB patient, for investigation of whether they are also infected. For this assignment, you are to assume the role of a Public Health Officer within a state or territory Health Department, undertake appropriate contract tracing and exposure assessments for a notified tuberculosis index case.

Students should explore relevant websites and articles to support a report with responses for questions 15. Assessment 2 will count 50% towards grades for this Unit. Recommended word count 2,500, excluding references and appendices.

Please include in the report i) What is the disease burden of TB in Australia? (e.g. incidence, prevalence, mortality) (5 marks) ii) How is pulmonary TB transmitted & how infectious is it? (high, moderate, low) (5 marks) iii) Who are the high risk groups for contact tracing, and in what clinical circumstances should more distant contacts or other members of the community present to the clinic for testing? (5 marks) iv) What procedures have been taken for the identified contacts, including follow-up (5 marks) v) When would the index case student return to class & how does the community know they are safe from infection from this source? (5 marks)

How to write the perfect journal entry:Choose 3 concepts from the chapter that you are defining and applying to real life situations.

Concepts are vocabulary words, terms, or theories that you have learned in this class. Some examples include trust vs. mistrust, Baumrind’s parenting styles, selective optimization, animism, wheel theory of love, elderspeak, etc. There are many others. Think of what interests you or catches your attention as you read the chapter and listen to the lecture. Chances are you are interested in the concept because it applies to you. This will make this assignment easier and more meaningful.
Make sure to clearly define (in your own words) each concept. Use a variety of concepts throughout the semester.
Apply each concept to a real life situation This may be an application to work or your personal life. Think about how you can use what you have learned. Be creative and thorough. Show me that you understand the concept as you illustrate its use.
Make sure to check grammar and spelling.
Check your journal entry length. Each concept should have at least two paragraphs dedicated to it. This will make your overall journal entry for each module at least six paragraphs long. A paragraph has a minimum of three sentences.
Don’t use quotes. This entry is to be 100% in your own words.
Don’t write a research paper. This is an application paper, and the focus is on your ability to understand and use what you have learned.
Make sure that you have submitted your entry as a Word document attachment in the correct assignment submission folder. Please do not attach in PDF, Word Perfect, or .pages (Apple) format. I cannot read these formats on my computer.
Check your Turnitin Similarity Score. This score appears after turning in your assignment. This is a percentage score showing what percent of your journal entry is not in your own words. For these assignments, this should be under 5%.

think particularly about the way that Anger is a Gift is in dialogue with The Hate U Give, but rather than looking at police brutality and the Black Lives Matter movement through one isolated incident of a teenager, think about the way that Anger is a Gift depicts the role surveillance can play in this conversation.

Requires to read Anger is A Gift novel by Mark Oshiro: reflect on the intersectionality of Anger is a Gift – this book not only intersects race and sexuality, but also the characters themselves represent multiple identities, without really lingering on them. Speak to the way the novel does that, and how it was for you as a reader to read a book that performs that intersection.2 pages, double spaced, minimum, MLA for any citation

Immunization Information Systems to Increase Vaccination Rates: A Community Guide Systematic

Review
One of the primary aims of public health is to promote prevention and reduce the incidence of preventable diseases. Vaccination is an effective method to curb disease outbreaks. Immunization information systems (IISs) are databases in which information regarding vaccination rates is consolidated. These systems are useful not only to tailor vaccination schedules for individual patients, but also to monitor community vaccinations and guide public health promotion activities. Based on the above information, answer the following questions:
What research method was used to inform recommendations? Assess the pros and cons of this approach.
Describe the capabilities of an IIS system.
Summarize the conclusions drawn by the authors with respect to IIS utility to both increase immunization rates and reduce vaccine-preventable diseases.
Complete a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis.
Complete a political, economic, sociological, and technological (PEST) analysis.
Explain the recommendations you would make in a proposal to executive leaders of your organization regarding whether or not to participate.

Explain how and why the three assets are advanyages for most graduates. Cite specific evidence.

Today a college education is still considered an asset for most individuals in America. Develop an argument in which you cite 3 specific advantages of a college degree, be it a 2 or 4 year degree. You may consider job opportunities, income, personal growth, social enrichment or any other asset that a college affords most graduates. Do not limit your argument to your own experiences. Argue from a broader experience. This paper must be in third person view.

As we reach a more modern age of theatre, with writers such as Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, Edward Albee, and many others, topics begin to appear that have not been seen often in the past. Not only do we discuss people who are middle class, but dark social issues begin to appear in stories. Please discuss three different issues in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof that were too taboo to bring up before the 20th century.

The family talks about a few things that they struggle with privately or even just elude to. Please quote the script specifically. How are these topics brought out, considering they were not examined in earlier centuries of writing, and how are we less delicate with these topics today in theatre, film and television? Please do this in between 500 and 1000 wordsUse a well constructed argument for each moment you use as an exampleUse an example from the script to defend your position on each of the momentsUse correct grammar and spelling
