Report requirements Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or Rich Text Format (.rtf). Students are to compose a report addressing both topics below and their (A-D) sub-topics. There will be a serious grade reduction for not meeting all of the requirements below (see grading rubric and check list for further explanation). Report must be a Minimum of 4 pages and maximum of 7 pages.The Report must be done in MLA format (in-text parenthetical citations) and must have an accurate and proper MLA works cited page. The report must use a minimum of 3 most relevant and current sources that may include any of the following: Articles (not blogs) from periodicals (newspapers or magazines) reports, government websites or broadcast. There must be a minimum of 6 (in-text citations in the report) and their corresponding entries on the work cited page entered in alphabetical order. Each sub-section must have a citation that is directly related.2 topics Be very detailed in your discussion for each of the sub-topics listed below. Be sure that the Works Cited page follows MLA guidelines. It must be on a separate page and all entries must be in alphabetical order (Start with Authors last name first when known). The name of this page is the Works Cited page and should state this at the top center of the page. This page does not count as part of the overall pages! 7. All sources used must be cited on the work cited page (min of 3) and all sources entered on works cited must have been cited in the report (min of 6). You may use: Articles (not blogs) from periodicals (newspapers or magazines) reports, or broadcast. Your articles must be directly related to your chosen topic (sub-topic heading).8. Check MLA format! Your last name and page number goes on the top right of each page.9. No Plagiarism! Be sure to cite the minimum 6 separate articles and be sure not to run the risk of plagiarizing. Accurate and full credit must be given to any source used in the report (whether direct quote or paraphrasing) or risk serious point reduction. Give credit to the source in the text by using MLA in-text citations! Here is an example:Donald Trump has made several statements about how we would like to change the current tax system. However, it is difficult to know what to expect according to a quote from an article written in NPR, Donald Trump has proposed a very detailed tax plan but his statements on the campaign trail don’t always match what his proposal would really do (Ydstie).John Ydstie is the full name of the author. Notice punctuation goes after the parenthesis!
