1. Browse and explore titles of articles and chapters, and corresponding authors in The International Journal of Community Music and the Oxford Handbook of Community Music, where generally speaking, the most active researchers in the field of Community Music are published.

The field of Community Music is growing rapidly. As such, there are a number of prolific writers and researchers who have dedicated much of their time to exploring and carving new knowledge pathways in this area. Become “the expert” on one community music author of your choosing. To do this, you will: 2. Choose an author whose work appeals to you (e.g.: if you are interested in exploring participatory music making, then look for titles and authors who are writing about this topic) and who is a prolific researcher in the field of Community Music (I.e.: they have contributed a minimum of 10 articles/chapters/books/etc related specifically to community music).3. Learn as much about the professional/academic life and career of your chosen author (e.g. where are they from? where/what did they study? where have/do they work? what is their professional title? what are their major accomplishments? what do they write about? who have they collaborated with? etc.) and write up a short overview of your findings. Use citations where necessary and include a bibliography and/or reference list at the end of your paper.4. Generate a complete bibliography (this should be separate from the bibliography mentioned above) of your chosen author’s collective works related specifically to community music. You should notice that while your author will have been published in one or more of the resources listed under #1, they will also have been published in a number of other journals, books and/or edited volumes.5. From the bibliography noted in point #4 (above), choose five (5) articles/chapters/books/etc and write an annotated bibliography for each. These should be no longer than one page each as per the annotated bibliography guidelines provided under project resources (below).6. Return to your short overview in #3 and add an additional section that outlines/summarizes the general themes and/or focus of the author’s research portfolio and output to date that you discovered as you explored their work.
Report Checklist and Order:1. Project cover page (title, name, student number, date)2. 12-point font; Times New Roman font; double spaced3. 2-3 page author overview (#3 and #6);4. 1-2 page bibliography of author’s collective work (#4); 5. Five (5) additional pages, one for each annotated bibliography that corresponds with 5 articles/chapters/books you chose and read (#5).6. Bibliography and/or reference list that matches citations from your overview section Project ResourcesInternational Journal of Community Music https://search.library.utoronto.ca/details?10489040Oxford Handbook of Community Musichttps://search.library.utoronto.ca/details?11623530Annotated Bibliographies https://www.lib.sfu.ca/help/cite-write/citation-style-guides/annotated-bibliographyhttp://advice.writing.utoronto.ca/types-of-writing/annotated-bibliography/

create a post that explores the relationship between art/architecture and mythology.

You may post up to 2 times, as long as the explorations cover mythologies from 2 different regions. That is, a maximum of 20 points in extra credit is available. The list below contains a list of works of art and buildings. Choose one and then explore how the values expressed in a certain myth or related group of myths are repeated in the art/architecture. Do not repeat the myth or merely provide a description of the work of art. Your posting must show through concrete details the connection between elements of mythology and the construction of the work of art. Start logically — for instance, do not try to piece together the images on Mount Rushmore with the myth of Chi Li. I. M. Do you think that this is the case? How would you explain the causes and impact of the current environmental crisis?

Provided references suggested that a) human societies currently face an unprecedented environmental crisis that is caused by both affluence and poverty (development and underdevelopment); b) that the poor and marginalized in the global south are unfairly blamed for this crisis; and c) that developing countries are asked to unfairly bear a disproportionate share of the costs of environmental conservation. Following your explanation of causes and effects, tell what it would take to address environmental and social justice concerns?
