In other words, you will choose two books, two films, or two television programs, with one of the books, films, or programs coming from a particular decade and the other book, film, or television program coming from another decade. Do you think these media examples are accurate portrayals of adolescent life during that particular time (I realize you were likely not there in the 70s or 80s if these are the decades you have chosen, but perhaps you could talk to older relatives or acquaintances about their recollections).
What differences between adolescent life in these differing decades can you observe? In other words, how did teen culture in the 70s differ from teen culture in the 90s (or between whatever decades you have studied?) What are the similarities you notice? Discussion: Addressing Barriers to
Effective Communication
From moment to moment, a nurse leaders day involves communicationwith patients, families, colleagues, supervisors, and so on.
Think of a particular day you spent working in a health care environment, and consider three or four distinct points in time. For each point of time, consider the following: With whom did you interact? Which forms of communication did you use? What issues were communicated aboutdid they seem to be light-hearted or sensitive? Straightforward or complicated? How would you describe the pace of the interactions and your work?
As you consider these questions, it becomes clear that communication can be quite complex, with many layers of meaning that shape the experience for everyone involved. How could this awareness help you to understand instances of ineffective communication when they arise?

My topic is Thrive Counselling and I have to do a presentation on It. I’m not sure how many pages /words its going to be since its a presentation. I’m not really sure how many sources there will need to be the presentation has to be about 20-30 minutes long. Also I don’t think there needs to be a certain format that needs to be used for this. Students, working individually are required to demonstrate their developing understanding of International
Business concepts and relationships in this culminating task. Students will research and eventually select a
young, national, Canadian company or charitable organization and product/service that would be suitable for
exportation to a single country of their choice. Do not focus on a company or charitable organization that
already has an international presence. As a second alternative, students may take on a more entrepreneurial
perspective to create a new company or charitable organization that offers a product or service that they will
design themselves. Students will then consider all relevant information necessary to convince the principles of
their client company or a group of interested venture capitalists (other students in the class) to support their
company/charitable organization product or service idea for international expansion.
Each topic presented will require a detailed report or minimum 20-30 minute presentation which provides
sufficient information about the company/charitable organization, the product or service and its suitability for a
particular foreign market. A wide variety of relevant details about that foreign market must be included in this
report/presentation as well as a step-by-step discussion which outlines the process by which that product will be
exported and be made available to the identified consumers within that selected foreign market. In doing so,
students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of international business concepts covered throughout
