Ensure that you specifically identify and “link” your source as well as explain how it is relevant to this week’s reading.

NOTE: Refer to chapters 10-12 from the following textbook. Text Book: Criminal Justice Organizations: Administration and Management, 5e Author: Stan Stojkovic; David Kalinich; John Klofas ISBN: 9781133707172 Write a 4-page, double-spaced paper using 12pt. Times New Roman font and 1″ margins. Include a title page, abstract page, and reference page in addition to the 3 full pages of narrative. You will submit 7 total pages. The body of the paper should have the following 3 parts: Part 1: Choose and answer just one of the “For Discussion” numbered items located at the end of chapters 10-12. Be sure to state which chapter the question originated and repeat the question prior to answering; both in bold print. Provide an accurate, comprehensive response that provides evidence of YOUR critical thinking — do not simply restate the text or other resource. Part 2: Research the internet and identify and thoroughly report on one website, article or report that is relevant to the unit’s topics. Your source may elaborate on or supplement this week’s reading. Lastly, provide a comprehensive summary of the source (identify and discuss its key contents). Be sure to cite and reference your source in APA style in the list of references at the end of your paper. Clearly relate the website’s relevancy to the week’s topic(s) and provide a clear, concise, and comprehensive summary of the site. Part 3: List and fully explain one salient point (key/important/significant point) from each assigned reading chapter for this unit. Identify the chapter in which each point was taken. Before explaining, first succinctly state your point in the first sentence (do not just discuss a general topic) and then fully discuss the point. Be concise when identifying each point and clearly explain the significance of each point.

Are there no other studies or very few indicating that there is a gap in the field which this study is designed to address?

Please, you need to do ONLY Assignment 1: Thesis critique 10%- The assignment has attached. You will need to locate and download an electronic copy of a doctoral thesis on your topic. For the thesis critique, you will need to use the following criteria. These are based on the assessment criteria used by (serious) peer-reviewed conferences, journals, and book publishers, and will be used in RM3, for your proposal, and later on the thesis. 1. Purpose and objectives of the study? Are these clearly identified and discussed? 2. Theoretical framework? Is there a clear identification and discussion of the theories, models or other conceptual frameworks used in the study, along with identification of the main underlying theorist and/or theoretical discussion in the field promoting or recommending this type of research? Is there a rationale provided? 3. Situation of the study within the research already conducted in the field? What other major studies have been done? How may this one be different? 4. Research Approach? Does the article give a justification for the type of research study? Qualitative, hermeneutic, interactional, etc.? 5. Is the methodology clearly and fully reported? This should include a discussion of the site and participant selection, the methods used for data collection or information collection (with a discussion of the design of the instruments and inclusion in the appendices), ethical consideration, limitations, and any other significant conduct issues? 6. Presentation and analysis of results? Is it clearly connected to the theoretical framework (e.g., if it is a colonization critique from E. Said, does the analysis and discussion of results clearly refer back to the theoretical framework?)? Are the importance of the results discussed in terms of their contribution to the field? Further research? I would suggest that you use a separate subsection for each of these, except in the case of the research approach and methodology that in some cases may be integrated into one subsection. Please note that it is expected that you will use the( RM1 and RM2 )the previous related courses research texts, along with other research literature sources and relevant books and articles on the topic in developing your critique of the thesis

What is the duration of most of the pitches? Are they long held notes or short punctuations of pitch or a combination of the two?

In our own modern lifestyles, music still exhibits power over our feelings. Different styles of music might be found in religious services; at a sporting event; as the background to a film (film score); in an elevator; while “holding” for a phone call; at our workplaces; setting the ambiance at a favorite restaurant; throughout a department store; etc. — and they affect us in different ways. We frequently choose different styles of music to accompany our activities/moods throughout daily routines. Write about two specific events where you can discuss the music thoroughly. Use the terms you have been learning about all semester to help you, such as discussing any or all of the Elements of Music (Musical Time, Pitch, Timbre, Texture, Dynamics, and Form) that you heard. Did these elements influence the listening experience? If so, then how? For example, walking through the department store, I heard a piece of music that was a rock ballad from the 1980 s. The dynamics were soft, and it was hard to hear the music, but the instrumentation consisted of You may want to then discuss why you think that type of music was playing, or why it was at a soft dynamic, or who it was trying to attract or not attract. Discuss your findings in a 3 page essay, double spaced (no need to include your journal notes taken during the 2-3 days), double spaced, Times font (size 11). Here are some questions to get you started when describing the “Elements of Music”: TIME: Can you describe it in terms of rhythm? How do the durations of the pitches effect the mood of the piece? Is there a steady beat throughout the entire piece? What do you perceive as the tempo of the piece (ex. Largo (slow), Moderato (medium), Allegro (Fast), etc.)? Can you identify the meter? Is it duple, triple, quadruple, or additive? Compound or simple? Do you notice any syncopation or polyrhythm throughout the piece? PITCH: What is the length of the melody or melodies? What is the range and contour of the melody? Is there conjunct or disjunct movement between the pitches of the melody? Does the harmony create suspense to the melody? Does it provide an accompaniment to the melody other than chords? Is there a counter-melody that accompanies the melody? Does it sound like a major or minor key? If there are lyrics, how does the melody and harmony support the words and emotions of the singer? TEXTURE: Is the texture homophonic, monophonic, or polyphonic? Does it stay the same or change throughout? Why do you think it stays the same or changes? Does the texture enhance the melody or lyrics? Does the texture take anything away from the lyrics? What do you think the composer is trying to communicate with the audience through the texture he/she has chosen? Do you think that a different texture for the piece would have as much impact on the listener as the one chosen by the composer? Why? TIMBRE: Decide what type of category the instruments you hear belongs to (aerophone, chordophone, membranophone, idiophone, or electrophone). What is being vibrated to create a sound? What is creating the vibration? How is the sound being amplified? What is the instrument made of? Are there any other qualities or characteristics about the instruments that you find interesting? What makes these instruments appealing or not appealing to you? What is the voice type of the singer(s)? Why do you think it is their voice type? Do you like that particular range of the singer? Are there any special effects that might be distorting the sound of the singer or instrument? MUSICAL FORM: What is the musical form of the piece? Is there any repetition? Variation? Contrast? Restatement? Is there any improvisation in the piece? Is the piece through composed of strophic? Is there any call and response? Is there an ostinato? Why do you think the composer chose this form? Does it enhance the mood or energy of the music? Does it enhance the lyrics of the piece? Do you think that a different form for the piece would have as much impact on the listener as the one chosen by the composer? Why? DYNAMICS: What is the overall range of the dynamics in this piece? Do the dynamics fluctuate often or rarely? Are there sudden changes in dynamics or gradual changes? Are there certain repeated sections of the piece that have the same dynamics every time? Do the dynamics enhance the lyrics or melody? What do you think the composer of the piece is trying to communicate to the audience with the dynamics that were chosen?

The impact of using Google Translate on the quality of the translated text by translators in Rynell Arabia Corporation in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Thesis is due in full on the 6th of Novermber. A first draft consist of 6 pages is needed by the 18th of October, please have those 6 pages ready and send to me on the due date above; 18th Oct, or before whenever possible. Here is my thesis topic proposal which got appoved already by the advisor; Thesis Description: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using Google Translate on the quality of the translated text by translators in Rynell Arabia Corporation in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. It means to show how ineffective digital text translating can be if depended on solely in the process of translating a full text or even a sentence. For example, a part of a text sentence like; The agenda/ training plan be such that each day is a building block for the next, if translated from English to Arabic using only Google translate we will get this ???? ??????? / ??? ??????? ???? ???? ?? ??? ?????? ??? ?????? ?? ??????? ??????? which is inaccurate. But with the help of a human translator the TT can be edited and put in its right context. TOOLS AND METHODOLOGY: This study consists of two groups; each consists of seven translators. Both groups have more or less the same work experience and they both have the same educational background. However, one of the groups is way more passionate about their work and is more attentive to details than the other one. Both groups will be given a text to translate from English to Arabic and a time frame to submit their translated text by. And both will have access to the same aiding tools such as dictionaries and access to the web. Knowing that one of the groups is a bit more on the lazy side, they will most likely depend on web-based translation aids to do most of their work. And so after both groups submit their work at the end of the given time frame we will evaluate the final product of each, trying to prove to whether our argument is right or not.

Consider the following as you complete this Individual Reflection: What can you do now to integrate the experiences and insights you had in this course with your personal and professional development goals?

Individual Reflection: Blueprint for Professional and Personal Growth Reflect on the process of creating goals, and your ideas on becoming a more effective leader, for the BPPG in the previous courses of this program. As in previous courses, you will now add to your Blueprint for Professional and Personal Growth. You should develop your BPPG from your learning in this course and design it to help you become a leader who can support learning organizations and who can demonstrate personal mastery and systems thinking for enhanced organizational performance. What are the most important things you are taking from this course that will shape your future and enable you to make a positive difference? All components of the Individual Reflection should be turned in as one document: 1. The executive summary: Write an Executive Summary of the course to date (23 paragraphs) that addresses the following questions: o Which content and assignments in this course most helped you to better understand how to foster a culture of organizational learning and how to apply systems thinking to achieve enhanced organizational performance within your organization (or one with which you are familiar)? What impact have the assignments had (or will have) on the value you will bring to your role within an organization? o How have the content and assignments changed the way you think of the role of systems thinking, constraint management and performance within the organization? o How can the knowledge you gained in this course enable you to make a positive difference? o In what ways do you think the knowledge and skills covered in this course can influence positive social change within an organization, community, or more broadly? o How have the content and assignments continued to shape your goals? 2. In his book, The Fifth Discipline, Peter Senge talks about how important Personal Mastery is to the health of both you as an individual and leader and to organizations. Read Chapter 8, Personal Mastery from The Fifth Discipline, then respond to the prompts below. (Note: Review all of your previous BPPG entries and analysis, the concepts from Chapter 8, and the concepts from this course). Then, complete the following: o Present your own personal vision as Senge describes the term on pages 136-138. Note that this personal vision goes far beyond traditional goals and objectives. o In what ways does your personal vision relate to your ability to lead positive social change within your organization, your community, or more broadly? o Identify and discuss one way, at minimum, in which your experiences to date in the MBA program have helped you understand, craft or move towards your personal vision. If none have occurred, now that you have that vision more formally defined, review the course descriptions of the upcoming courses in your MBA program and identify those that you think will help contribute towards your personal vision. 3. Your action plan: Write a detailed action plan for one new goal for professional and personal development (you will continue to build on the list of goals you started in your previous course). These action plans should include the following: o Your specific goal for professional and personal development with an explanation as to why you selected it. Be sure to provide concrete and specific examples of why the goal is important, the extent to which this goal enables you to be an agent for positive social change, and the personal or professional value you expect from achieving the goal, and how the goal relates to the resources you reviewed in the course. o Hint: If you want to expand upon a plan or initiative you have already proposed in a previous week, feel free to so. o At least two objectives for the goal you have identified. Provide a rationale that explains how your objectives support the goal. Guidance on Assignment Length: Your BPPG, including the Executive Summary (which should be 2-3 paragraphs in length and no more than one page single spaced), your personal vision, and your action plan should be 3-6 pages total (1.5-3 pages total if single spaced). Refer to the Week 7 Application rubric for grading elements and criteria. Your instructor will use the rubric to assess your work. Blueprint for Professional and Personal Growth (BPPG): A Potential for Self-plagiarism When developing your Blueprint for Professional and Personal Growth (BPPG) for this course, you may find that you are utilizing some information that you presented in the discussions or assignments in this course or information that you have presented in previous courses, including previous BPPG submissions. Walden recognizes this situation with the caveat that you may use only small portions of your previously submitted work as background or foundational material for additional development in a subsequent assignment or research project. Refer to Section 3 of the Student Handbook, Academic Integrity section in the Code of Conduct: found at https://catalog.waldenu.edu/content.php?catoid=155&navoid=51011. However, when doing so, you must be careful not to commit a form of academic integrity known as self-plagiarism. If you reuse sections of your previously submitted work without providing the proper citation and reference, you are committing self-plagiarism. This is a violation of Academic Integrity as defined in the Student Code of Conduct. To ensure that you follow the Academic Integrity standards you must take care to properly cite and reference any reused sections of previously submitted work. For example, if Johana Smithe reuses a section of their BPPG from the previous class, they would cite this section as a quotation: (Smithe, 20xx, p.y) and provide a reference in the Reference page: Smithe, J. (20xx). Blue print for professional growth for WMBA60xx. Unpublished manuscript, Walden University. Please take some time to review the information at the Writing Center concerning self-plagiarism and how to properly cite yourself. Discuss How the outputs benefited the organisation (for example, if you conducted radio interviews for a radio station, detail why this was important as a news story/feature story for the program/station.

Part A – The Material (80%) Present the material that you produced in your project in a format that is applicable to the tasks undertaken and the industry in which you were working. Examples could include one or more of the following: Video material or reel/s Video scripts Radio journalism news bulletin or package Website design or website material Collection of artefacts, such as: – Journalism news stories, reports, or feature articles – published and unpublished – Public relations materials such as media releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, speeches, blog posts – Social media content calendars, activities and evaluation reports – Advertising material Communication plan or audit Research report Review of organisational websites Administrative and planning documents (as applicable), such as: – Project schedules – Databases and spreadsheets – Pre-production documents, including shooting schedules, releases for actions and locations – Marked-up scripts (for Film and Television students where appropriate) You may present the material in a manner that would allow it to subsequently be added to your professional show reel or portfolio. (Since the outputs vary according to students’ programs of study, students will either submit non text-based outputs or heavily text-based outputs. Please therefore note that the word count is given as an equivalence measure only. Part B – Presentation (20%) Each student will present a 2-4 minute PowerPoint presentation that provides context to your portfolio. (4 minutes = 520 words). *For this, you will do a PowerPoint presentation and write a 520-word speech for me to say for my PowerPoint, which I will then record as a voiceover. The presentation should display highlights of their portfolio and provide the following information: What you achieved during your placement. Your involvement with or contribution to each of the pieces of work you present. (For example, if you are a media arts student and you produce a video for a client as your final output, provide information about what element of the project you worked on). The outcomes/results for the organisation or client as a result of your work (for example, if you write a media release for an organisation, this resulted in an article being published in a local newspaper. You may wish to provide the news article as well). The goal is to provide some context to your body of work. *My chosen business for my placement is an online boutique called Medusa Boutique* https://www.medusaboutique.com/ Instagram – shop.medusa.boutique https://www.instagram.com/shop.medusa.boutique/ https://www.facebook.com/shop.medusa.boutique/ *I am studying Bachelor of Arts (Communication and Media Management), and my career goal is to become a social media manager* *I have attached what I have done so far in my assignment under the name Medusa Boutique Portfolio so you can open the file and edit it following the task requirements* Relevant References: https://books.google.com.au/books?id=ifgoCgAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=gbs_ViewAPI&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q&f=false https://books.google.com.au/books?id=HzcVAgAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=Kendrick,+T+2014,+The+project+management+tool+kit:+100+tips+and+techniques+for+getting+the+job+done+right,++3rd+edition,+New+York+:+American+Management+Association.&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiKpqfY3_7dAhWa-2EKHWXZBG0Q6AEILTAB#v=onepage&q&f=false

Begin Developing a Draft Problem and Purpose Statement. ( Let’s keep it in the aviation industry). The problem must be a subject that is focused and feasible. T

he title of the project should reflect the guidelines in the APA manual, para 2.01. Key to developing the problem statement is to identify a current real-world problem within the industry that will be researched. The problem should be broad enough to allow for adequate research. The input should provide a brief explanation of the problem and the purpose of the research.
