Signature Assignment The goal of the Signature Assignment is to write no more than a 5 page APA formatted paper with a refined conceptual model and research questions (as needed). By now, you should have at least 10 articles with theories, scales, etc., that support the variables you previously identified for your dissertation topic. Introduction: The Case Assignment starts with a broad scope of the research area that you plan to conduct for your dissertation research study. As you write the 2nd paragraph of your introduction, you can slowly focus on prior research, published statistics, theories, opinions, or practice that relates to your specific research topic that will be the focus of your dissertation. The introduction should be 3-4 paragraphs long. Conceptual Model: In this section of your Signature Assignment, you will discuss your updated conceptual model and describe how the different variables (independent, predictor and dependent variables) relate to each other. You can add additional variables in your conceptual model but keep in mind you will need to have supportive literature for each additional variable. Describing your Conceptual Model should be 2-3 paragraphs long. Please include a figure of your Conceptual Model in the assignment. Research Questions: In this section of the Signature Assignment, please state your updated Research Questions derived from the Conceptual Model you plan to investigate in you research study. You can add additional research questions in relation to your conceptual model. Brief Literature review: In this section of the Signature Assignment, please write a preliminary literature review that is no more than 2 pages. In writing your preliminary literature review, review the annotated bibliography to try to group your research articles into themes (variables) to help provide a background context for your dissertation topic. Research Contribution to the Organization or Context: In this section of the Signature Assignment, describe and explain how to your proposed study can help improve the productivity or efficiency of the organization or context where you plan to conduct your research study or your proposed theory that adds to a particular body of knowledge. Describing your Research Contribution should be 2 paragraphs long. Annotated Bibliography: Instead of the regular reference page, create an annotated bibliography in APA format with a minimum of 10 references relative to your dissertation research. Please note that the annotated Bibliography is not included in the 5 page total count of the paper. Other Guidelines -Include a Title Page and Annotated -Bibliography (not included in the 5 page count) -Use APA formatting for the entire paper Suggestion: Create an APA reference page for future use even though it is not part of this assignment.
