3. Review the financial statements, starting with the sales/revenue shown in the profit and loss account. You need to look at the profit loss account line by line and do the same for the balance sheet identifying why things might have changed.
4. Undertake ratio analysis for the two years performance for both of the companies providing clear interpretations of what these indicate and a summary identifying the health of the company
5. Provide a conclusion reviewing and analysing the information obtained, compare the companies position now and in the short-term future. Advise the CEO of the UK Company on whether to acquire the other company or to merge with it.
