Literature reviews identify major themes associated with a topic, and demonstrate the agreement and disagreement that may exist on the topic in terms of theoretical concepts and research findings. Therefore, a well constructed literature review should contain the following: description of the main concepts of the theory, the history of development of the theory, strengths and weaknesses of the theory, any research findings that show why the theory does not fully explain certain types of crime or leaves certain questions about crime unanswered, any crimes/victimization experiences it explains the best, and a description of some of the specific research findings. Paper must also have a conclusion that summarizes the important aspects of existing knowledge on that topic. This involves using the databases on the website and google scholar to find peer reviewed research articles to create the paper. I will post an outline that you can follow to construct the literature review. Paper requirements: the entire paper must be in APA format (abstract needed), have headings for subject areas (e.g: Title, Introduction, Conclusion, etc), 12 pt font, double spaced, and have a minimum of 5 peer reviewed journal article resources. Make sure to use in-text citations for every factual statement/study finding you report, and have an APA formatted reference/bibliography page IN ADDITION to the 4 double spaced page requirement.

Analyze the corresponding economic system. Think about how this aspect of your material life is organized by the economic system it corresponds to. Examples:

What institutional norms and cui bono outcomes might be dominant in 2075?*All economic norms serve specific Cui Bono INTERESTS. Norms impose uniformity of behavior within and between social/economicl groups, and provide stability to a system organized around these specific Cui Bono interests. They fluctuate -in an evolutionary or revolutionary manner- in keeping with social, political, and economic changes. In general, a social norm is a customary rule of behavior which coordinates peoples expectations in social (and therefore political and economic) interactions and relationships. They are based on ideological assumptions and values and have Cui Bono effects.
