Identify the chosen company, its products/services and simulate or create a lower margin product or service for it.

Option #2: Analysis of Alternative Production Scenarios Go to the SECs EDGAR database to find a companys current 10-K form. Do not use a 10-K filing that was not filed in the current year. (For example, choose a companys 12/31/2017 10-K filing, filed in 2018.) The SECs EDGAR database is located here: https://www.sec.gov/edgar/searchedgar/companysearch.html (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. Use the Company Search to locate your company. Then, enter 10-K in the Filing Type box to find the latest filing. Read the 10-K and use it to calculate the following ratios. Be sure to clearly label and show your calculations and reference the information from the 10-K in APA format. Please choose a nationally recognized company for providing high-quality services or products. Management is concerned that the company is not fully exploiting its brand power. Imagine that Companys production managers are concerned because their productive capacities are not operating at near full capacity. Management is currently considering a proposal to offer a new line of affordable new products or services. Those in favor of the proposal (including the vice president of production) believe that, by offering these new products or services, the company could attract a clientele that it is not currently servicing. Also, it could operate its plants at full capacity, thus taking better advantage of its assets. The vice president of marketing, however, believes that the lower-priced (and lower-margin) product or service would have a negative impact on the sales of existing products or services. The vice president believes that the equivalent of 20% of current years sales of the new low cost product or service will be from customers that would have purchased the more expensive product but switched to the lower-margin product or service because it was available. (This is often referred to as cannibalization of existing sales.) Top management feels, however, that even with cannibalization, the companys sales will increase and the company will be better off. Instructions: Current Years data are available in the 10K you retrieved. Please calculate Proposed Results Amounts and fill out the table below as indicated. A) (In thousands) Current Results Proposed Results without Cannibalization Proposed Results with Cannibalization Sales Revenue Current years sales $…… $….Increase of 30% from current years sales $….Increase of 10% from current years sales Net Income Current years net income $……… $… Increase by 8% from current years net income $….Same as current years net income Average total assets $….(Beginning Assets Balance + Ending Assets Balance)/2 $…Same as current years Average Total Assets $…Same as current years Average Total Assets B) Identify the chosen company, its products/services and simulate or create a lower margin product or service for it. Do not determine price, cost or margin for the product; just name and describe it. C) Compute your chosen companys return on assets, profit margin, and asset turnover; both with and without cannibalization of the new product or service. D) Discuss the implications that your findings in parts (A, B and C) have on each Executives assessment of performance and final decision. E) Are there any other options that the Company and Executives should consider? What impact would each of these alternatives have on the above ratios? Show your work and use Excel or Word for your submission. The written portion of your assignment should be four to six pages in length with document and citation formatting in conformity with the CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA Requirements (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.. Your calculations are not included in the page requirement of the written portion of your assignment.

What would you do differently if you were to do this project again (eg. Interview more/fewer people, use a different data collection format, look at a different advert, ask different questions, etc.)? Why?

Data collection and Analysis
Utilizing the Research Plan you prepared for Assignment 1, your task is:
To perform the data collection presented and discussed in your plan.
To produce a 2,000-word report on the research including: 1. Discussion and critical analysis of the data you have collected
2. A critical reflection on the approach you chose to take.
3. To provide evidence of the data collected in an appendix
This is the second part of the one that you made with the survey. It is the same subject that you made.
This is the template:
INTRODUCTION (written in third person) 100 words (recommended)Introduce some context of the research before you begin your discussion it was a survey for 40 people. I share it on my facebook account and my friends completed it
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION (written in third person) – 1200 words (recommended)This section should comprise of the results (which have been analysed), which depending on your method may
comprise of figures (graphs, statistical analysis, word clouds), tables (numerical), or narrative quotes within the text. These need to be described (what do they show?) and discussed in relation to the literature in your
literature review (Assignment One). This section should be critically underpinned by relevant critical sources. CRITICAL REFLECTION (written in first person) – 700 words (recommended)
In this section, you will critically contemplate your general approach and your method to consider the success of the research you have done. You will also consider what you have learned from the experience that you can take forward to future projects.
The critical has to be composed of the two following parts:
1)ANALYSIS OF APPROACH:
Using relevant methodological literature, what were the strengths
and weaknesses linked to the data collection approach you chose? Did your approach achieve what
you thought it would, did it meet your aims and objectives? What would you do differently if you
were to do this project again (eg. Interview more/fewer people, use a different data collection
format, look at a different advert, ask different questions, etc.)? Why?
2) PERSONAL REFLECTION:
Considering the dissertation project you will be doing in your final
year, what general points will you take away from this project? Questions you could consider
include:
Was data collection easier/harder/more complicated than you originally thought?
Was there an aspect of the research that you found really rewarding/interesting/difficult? Why?
Was your question too broad or too narrow?
Did you create more data than you knew what to do with, or not enough?
What will you do differently in future to compensate for or correct any issues you
encountered?
Make sure you consider this reflection objectively rather than subjectively for example, avoid phrases such as
I liked this or this was boring. Support your claims with explanations and consider how you would work
around issues/replicate positive experiences (e.g. …
the focus group was more difficult to manage than I
thought it would be because people spoke over each other and I missed what the quieter people were saying. In future, to avoid this issue, I would…)APPENDIX:
Think about the type of information you can provide to prove that you performed the research. If it was a focus group or interview include a photo of the participants and a copy of the notes you took during the process. If it was a survey include some of the filled in surveys and a copy of the questions you asked.Answers from the survey:

As the healthcare industry moves into a value-based model, ethics must be considered when making decisions about collecting data for the organization and how it will be utilized.

First When analyzing ethics and how they can influence not only the individual and the decisions that are made within an organization is critical when in a leadership role. Ethics play a part in every decision that is made not only by the leaders, but also the clinical staff, non-clinical staff, and the patient. As the healthcare industry moves into a value-based model, ethics must be considered when making decisions about collecting data for the organization and how it will be utilized. Ethical and legal constraints within the healthcare industry pose a continual barrier to the development of incorporation of marketing fully into healthcare; and many of the goods and services within healthcare also have constraints that are not found in any other industry (Thomas, 2015). Marketing researchers have an ethical obligation just like clinicians when they have taken their oath to conduct research objectively, so their data will allow for development to a balanced realistic picture of the assessed data. This means marketing researchers must be aware of the illegal and unethical practices that are out in the industry and avoid them while they are conducting market research. If marketing researchers do not, they may find themselves marked as utilizing deceptive practices, invading patients/clients privacy, breaching confidentiality and facing legal repercussions.Marketing research has stakeholders making decisions and evaluating what outcomes may come, which also includes the practice of marketing ethics within this. One of the leading models of ethical decision making, the Hunt-Vitell model is a descriptive model about normative relationships in ethical decision making as stated by (Hunt & Vitell, 1996), (Ferrell & Keig, 2013). Respondents are also a key player in marketing research and ethics and have had their conduct examined that has risen concerns. A top concern is respondent misconduct is providing false information when marketing researchers are gathering data (Aggarwal et. al., 2011). Another important consideration with false information is when a respondent refuses to participate in the surveys that they were provided, this decision skews the data results and provides marketing researchers with inaccurate information in making decisions.
SecondMarketers have an important position in healthcare where they are needed to promote products that will be beneficial to patients. However, in order to promote a product, you have to verify that it works. This is where data collections come in and provides pertinent information regarding the pros and cons of a product. There are many ways to gather data. The different ways can be surveys, observations, or interviews. Observations and interviews can become overwhelming because they take up an ample amount of time. Also, it is hard to do those types of research with a large group of participants. Surveys are convenient and can be done with a wide variety of people. Well-designed surveys are user-friendly; include clear, simple instructions; and require no technical or even Internet proficiency from respondents (Thomas, 2015). Ethical considerations while doing any type of research has to brought into consideration. One ethical consideration for a survey is to provide basic information regarding the survey and who it is for. For example, provide the organization name and a brief summary for the reasoning behind the survey. Another consideration is have consent. This may be the most important one because you cannot take information for participants without their knowledge. Especially if it related to their health. Lastly, collecting data (i.e. through surveys) is often done under the assumption that information provided is confidential and the findings will be anonymous. You should let participants know when you will have to break confidentiality (e.g. in the case of harm to themselves or someone else) and whether results will be anonymous or not (Ethical Considerations in Data Collection).I just need you to make a comments on each one 3 for lines question, suggestions anything…..
