Heart disease in woman with menopause

One in every 4 Americans will die of heart disease. While the incidence for men has gotten better, for women it has not. double spaced document, APA format. Discuss the effects of Heart Disease on the body of a woman in menopause. You are always welcome to go over 8 pages, (do what you need to do to get your questions answered). Be sure to answer each of the the following questions in your paper. 1) Which physiological (body) systems are affected by heart disease and how are they affected. What does the disease do to the body that is negative. (not genetic heart deformities of the heart please) 2) What are the differences to consider if the female patient has had the heart disease diagnosis for 25 years or was recently diagnosed? What does the body look like inside and what is the person thinking if they have had it 25 years? What about newly diagnosed? This question is a lot of logic and thinking about the body systems and the persons attitude towards the disease. 3) What is the difference between an older woman with well-controlled heart disease and an older woman with uncontrolled heart disease? What are they thinking and how are they acting? What is happening inside their body? 4) What special nutrition related considerations might there be for the elderly woman patient with heart disease as opposed to a 35 year old female patient with heart disease? What are they thinking and how are they acting? How is an older persons lifestyle different than a younger persons? 5) Please include a cover sheet and reference page so minimum length is 7 pages but 8 would be fine. Appropriate sources for current research on this topic are peer-reviewed research articles (try searching in PubMed via the library The Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is an example of a peer-reviewed journal, or your book, or the references in your book at the end of this chapter, or American Heart Association, or American Medical Association). Cite all your sources in the text paragraphs like this ex: (Robinson, 2014) and you should have a lot of these in your paper. Please and the full reference at the end on the reference page APA format. If you dont know already, peer reviewed means that other health professionals have reviewed it and think the document is legit. Non-peer reviewed is someone just writing their opinion in an article or blog and it is just thattheir opinion. Do not use opinions unless it is yours. If citing from web pages they must be legit sources. Please have a cover page and a reference page so the total number of pages you are submitting is 7 or more. Again, can you go over 8 pages?…. of course, make it good.

Why your chosen American presidential campaign won or failed

You are required to write a term paper which is due at the end of the course on the date specified on the syllabus. Choose one presidential campaign of an American president and explain why they won or lost. For example, you might choose to discuss Ronald Reagans failed presidential campaign of 1976 or his successful 1984 campaign. Your paper should be structured in the following way: Introduction In 1-2 paragraphs explain why the candidate won or lost. State your argument and briefly explain your reasons/evidence. Tell the reader what your paper will show. Relationship to the Political Regime This will comprise the body of your paper. Explain how the candidates presidential run fits into the typology of presidential leadership: reconstructive, articulative, disjunctive, or preemptive. For example, Reagans 1976 campaign was preemptive but his 1984 campaign was reconstructive. Give examples from the candidacy or campaign (nomination and/or general election phase) that illustrate your argument. Consider such factors, where appropriate, as opponents, fundraising, staff, advertising, issues, debates, primaries won/lost, delegate counts at the convention, and convention speech, among other things. Include electoral and popular vote totals. Conclusion What have we learned from this candidates campaign? What could the candidate have done differently in order to win or what was key to their victory? How important was timing (when they ran) for their success or failure? Bibliography Be sure to include a list of all material cited in your paper, with proper citation format as discussed below. Your paper must be uploaded to SafeAssign and adhere to the following requirements: The paper must be 5-6pp., typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font with one-inch margins all around and contain at least four different scholarly/academic sources such as books or articles that relate to your topic. They must be discussed and cited in your paper and also listed in your bibliography at the end. You may use either within-text-cites or endnotes (but not footnotes). Your paper must include a works cited/references/bibliography at the end of your essay. You must use an accepted bibliographic style that includes the following for books: author(s), title, publisher, year; for journals: author(s), title of article, title of journal, volume, year, pages, for newspapers/magazines/internet articles: author(s), title of article, title of source, date, web address. Evaluate and discuss the applicability of Piagets theory of cognitive development. Why are developmental phases important to consider when addressing how we learn?

Prior to engaging in this discussion, read Chapter 4: Cognition, Learning, and the Environment in your required e-book, review the article Socially Situated Cognition in Perspective and the Instructor Guidance, and view the video What Are Schemas? (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.. Cognition incorporates numerous variables that are suggested to affect how we learn. For this discussion please address the following theories that support this suggestion: How does effective schema development affect our ability to move knowledge (memories) from working memory to long-term memory? How do the differing types of schema (Table 4.2: Types of comprehension-associated schema in your required e-book) potentially play differing roles? Why might one type of schema be harder for a person to develop than another? How does the term reciprocal determinism further explain the dynamic of learning that is suggested to be affected by our environment? (social learning theory and social cognitive theory) Based on your previous answers, how do these sub-theories and frameworks affect your own learning success, past and future?

The Emergence of Cognitive Research, from your text, watch the video, TEDTalks:

Peter DoolittleHow Your Working Memory Makes Sense of the World (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site., and the Instructor Guidance. For this discussion, you will be considering the variables that differentiate cognitivism from behaviorism and how this area of understanding how we learn, affects our own ability to effectively acquire new knowledge and apply to our personal and professional goals. As you have read this week, cognitivism is a theory that addresses the minds contribution to how we learn. The cognitive revolution (although considered by some as an overly stated fact) is suggested to have been a response to the behaviorist movement that rejected introspection (anti-mentalism), and controversially lead to, what some consider, a dissolvement of the behaviorist movement. Consider the following questions about cognitivism and discuss each, basing your posture on this weeks readings, your past experiences, and your past knowledge. Why is it suggested that cognitivists disagree with the behaviorist view that learning only occurs if there is an outward manifestation? What other notable differences do these two theories suggest? Do you agree with the cognitivist view that learning is a change in ones schemata? (Support with citations.) How have your personal schemata changed throughout your life? (Could be about learning, but also about other domains such as love, honesty, hard work, loyalty, etc.) List an example of a schema that has changed, in your own knowledge development. involving the field of psychology. Based on cognitivism, what implications does it suggest is a potential concern for effectively processing information when cognitive load is not effectually considered? Do you recall a time where learning was difficult because there were too many components all at once? What strategy(ies) did you use to work through this situation?

Summary of the Raleigh location orders as an Excel spreadsheet.

EX16_AC_CH08_GRADER_ML2_HW – Hotel Services Project Description: As the database manager of a hotel chain, you monitor the services ordered using a summary query. Verify that the table was exported correctly, and return to the exploring_a08_Grader_h3_LastFirst database. Do not save the export steps. 3 Modify the Summary by ServiceID query so that it displays only orders from location 3 (which is Raleigh). Save, run, and then close the query. Export the query to Excel, and save the workbook as exploring_a08_Grader_Raleighorders_LastFirst. 4 Review the exported data, and close Excel. Do not save the export steps. Import the Excel spreadsheet back into the database as a linked table named Raleigh Property Updates, with the first row headings as field names. 5 Open the Raleigh Property Updates table, and close the table. Do not save the import steps. 6 Open exploring_a08_Grader_Ordersexcel.xslx, and review the data in the spreadsheet. Exit Excel, and return to exploring_a08_Grader_h3_LastFirst. Import the Excel spreadsheet as a table named Orders_Excel with the first row as column headings and OrderID as the primary key field. Do not save the import steps. 7 Open exploring_a08_Grader_Ordersaccess.accdb, and review the data in the Orders_Access table. Close exploring_a08_Grader_Ordersaccess, and return to exploring_a08_Grader_h3_LastFirst. Create a link to the Orders_Access table in the exploring_a08_Grader_Ordersaccess database. Based on your analysis, you recommend to General Mills leadership what they should do strategically? And support your strategic recommendation.

General Mills Individual Case Case 3 is an individual, not a team, case. The case will build on previous work in the course, so your report will include: 1) Analyzing the internal environment (Chapter 3) 2) Analyzing the external environment (Chapter 4) and a few more considerations from the later chapters. 3) More comprehensive examination of the financial situation of the company (Chapter 4) 4) Consideration of other strategy choices (Chapter 6) or competing internationally (Chapter 7) or adding a diversification strategy (Chapter 8). With your knowledge of these later chapters, your strategic recommendation for General Mills can be more sophisticated than the basic five generic business strategies. Use the material in Chapters 6 -10 to develop strategic solutions that can involve global expansion, mergers and acquisitions, alliances, backward or forward integration. For the financial analysis: Present one or more ratios to represent each of the four areas of financial analysis: Profitability Liquidity Leverage (what I call Risk) Activity (what I call Efficiency) Then, present a minimum page discussion of the companys financial situation, using ratios to evaluate the companys profitability, liquidity, leverage and activity. Of course, most of these ratios are meaningless by themselves; they only have meaning as a comparison. You must therefore compare the General Mills ratios to one of three choices: 1. Where the company is now versus where it has been over time (last two years), or 2. The industry averages for the ratios, or 3. A significant rivals ratios The ratios and financial information should be in the Appendix, so you have all the five pages of the report for your analysis and recommendation. The financial analysis should be a significant part of your internal analysis What could be more important about a companys strengths and weaknesses? You are a consultant hired by the executive leadership of General Mills. Why is it the best solution to the significant problem you have identified? Your recommendation should have as foundation at least 1-2 internal factors and at least 1 -2 external factors. You can mix and match – what strengths should General Mills (GIS) use to take advantage of an opportunity; or what opportunity should GIS take to solve one of its weaknesses. What strengths could the company use to mitigate a threat; or what weaknesses must the company address so they do not fall victim to the treats facing the industry? Yes – this is a SWOT analysis. And the true payoff of SWOT analysis is learning enough to develop a strong strategic approach to gaining competitive advantage. Please see the files for instructions regarding Case Studies in this class. Remember: your report is based on where the company and the industry are now! The attached article from the Wall Street Journal is a good start. The online article has links and related material; you all have access to the WSJ through the NSU library. Use the same instructions as with previous cases – attached below. Case Preparation: Remember, the cases are graded per the rubric. The BoD would want your recommendations with the proper support. Any analysis details should be covered in an appendix. Do not go to the Internet to find, for example, a SWOT analysis and use it for your case. Do your own research and develop your own strategic analysis. In doing your cases you will need a minimum of three references outside the case I give you. One of the references must be the companys latest 10K report or Annual Report – Wikipedia and QuickMBA type sources do not count. Use current business websites to find out about recent developments. The case study analysis allows you to apply your knowledge to the real world. Your goal is to identify the major problem confronting the subject company and provide a strategic solution for the problem. You will need to collect data and interpret it. You must also isolate the critical issues that the company faces. Remember that in the words of Lord Kelvin, “anything that cannot be expressed in numbers represents knowledge that is of a poor and uncertain kind.” After identifying the critical issues, you can generate alternatives to address the company’s competitive situation. Evaluating these alternatives allows an organization to select one course of action. With a course of action defined the strategic manager can then provide a plan for implementation this is what you are to do on the case studies.
