Your essay should demonstrate effective understanding of the chosen approach, including the ontological and epistemological underpinnings. You should examine its strengths and weaknesses based on insights from academic sources in the reading list and, if appropriate, beyond. Expectataion – your peers (remember that journal articles are written for experts in the field, you are writing for non-experts)Instructions: based on the theory you selected and the key concepts from that theory you need to identify a social problem. Problems have three components.1.Shared context – this is a sentence or paragraph that gives the reader some information about a situation so they are on the same page with the writer. People often use statistics, numbers here.2.Problem – why should the reader care about the situation you described? How are people negatively affected by a pattern of social relations? (e.g., how does this affect life chances of people?) Do you have numbers or statistics to show how many people are affected?(e.g., how many people are hurt by the unfair practices/policies of society?) What is the cost in $$$ of this situation?
