You should identify not only the internal sources of law, but also assess the effect of external sources of law. When describing each of the main sources, you are permitted to describe an analysis of the institutions relevant to each source and how an institution creates law. Credit will be given to how different sources of law engage with each other, particularly the interaction between statute law and the common law. Memory and Politics: What is the legacy of Nazi science?

Read the supplemental article and address the basic question: https://blackboard.sc.edu/bbcswebdav/pid-11958900-dt-content-rid-81199396_2/courses/HIST108-000-FALL-2018/WSJ%20Ethics%20Question%20Reading.pdf Should the Space Medicine Association drop Hubertus Strugholds name from their award for outstanding work in aviation medicine? In addressing your ethical position on the question, be sure to cite specific evidence from the article. Your argument will likely need to address several underlying ethical questions. It will strengthen your argument if you can defend your position against alternative points of view (explain why counter attacks are less effective than your position). Some potential lines of questioning include: What do we do with the legacy of Nazi knowledge? How do you honor or dishonor Nazi achievements and Nazi crimes?” As a society do we have trust in the court system? Do we believe in second chances? Is science independent of feeling; that is, should we only judge scientists on their results or should they have exceptional moral standing? Why do we name honors after individuals? What are the medical ethics of human experimentation? Should history be rewritten to reflect current societys mores?

Understanding how to organize data and how it was collected is important in social science research. Go to Data.gov and browse through some of the data the U.S. government has collected about people, places, and things.

Select a particular data set you would like to use for the discussion. In your post, indicate which dataset you selected. Describe how you would create a random sample, systematic sample, stratified sample, and cluster sample of whatever size you like. What are the differences between these types of samples? (You do not have to download and organize the data for this theoretical discussion.) Then, discuss the possibility of sampling error (user vs. sample). Do you feel confident in this sample? Where do you think the exact data came from and how do you think it was compiled? Do you think this sample is sufficient for making claims about its population? Why or why not? In response to your peers, evaluate how their responses differed from yours. Compare and contrast the ways you selected data and determined whether or not it was gathered effectively.
