Next, find an example of this topic that is currently an issue at an American college or university (including, but not limited to, Towson). For the example you select, answer the following questions: What is the benefit of limiting expression in this case? 3. Does the example violate the standards of free speech through the government restricting protected forms of speech or expression? Why or why not? 4. Do any of the specific limits to free speech apply in this case? If so, which limit? 5. Do you agree with the limit of free speech (regardless of whether you see it violating free speech or not)? Why or why not? You must cite at least 2 outside sources (beyond course sources) with information about the example. Provide a full citation for all outside sources used, and cite them in the text as you draw from them. You should also cite the textbook or other course material anywhere it is used in text, but do not need full citations for those citations. The assignment should be approximately 1 page, double spaced, not including the citations for the sources. Submit the assignment in class as a hard copy on Thursday. Late submissions will not be accepted without a written excuse for a documented emergency.
