Develop or assess an international business strategy and evaluate (assess, compare and contrast) it with at least one other feasible option that might improve upon the situation presented in your case. Make a recommendation based on analysis of what the firm/manager should do.

Each student researches and writes a paper dealing with the aspects of doing business in another country. The student takes the materials and concepts from the course and applies them to the chosen target. This is a comprehensive project that investigates the social, legal, economic, political, and technological conditions of international business and brings them together in the form of a document that can provide the basic information necessary for an international venture. The paper should be developed over the entire course. As with in-class case analyses, the Assignment should neither simply repeat case raw material, nor describe the Modules frameworks, concepts, tools and techniques, but be analytically evaluative, marshalling case facts to support arguments. This assignment will require students to: Make sure that you help your reader understand the assumptions you make in your evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of options, your decision criteria, and why you chose your marketing plan. Incorporate within the analysis a refutation of the alternatives. Draw into the analysis parallels to similar situations (i.e., examples of other firms facing similar challenges, and/or discussions of industries where such issues are common). Succinctly summarize the key takeaway(s) of analyses (i.e., what lessons can other firms facing similar challenges take from your analyses and recommendations?). Students may work in pairs and submit a single assignment jointly, or individually. If a pair-work Assignment, the course paper should be no more than 16 pages long, and if individually, no more than ten pages long. In either case, the paper must be formatted with 2.54 cm. (Normal) margins, Double line spaced, paginated, and 12-point Times New Roman font. Figures, tables, and references may be added provided they are within this overall page limit. If Appendices are added, they should not contain any materials central to the core of this assignment and will not be considered within the marking scheme. Apart from the difference in page-length limit between pair-work and individual assignments, pair-work assignments will be expected to achieve a higher scholarly standard, reflecting reasonable differences in the work structure. Ensure each page is numbered and state the page length on your cover sheet. Exceeding the number of pages or word count implied by the guidance in the preceding paragraph will result in the deduction of ten percentage points that is 10 marks; thus, a score of 65% would be reduced to 55%. Cite and reference all sources. This written assignment is to be submitted via Blackboard for assessment no later than 10 a.m. on Sunday 9 December, 2018. Each student must attain instructor approval of his paper topic and is recommended to seek this as soon as practicable, early on in the semester. He should email a one-page summary of his paper explaining the situation, the complication(s), questions raised, and answers. Logic in Writing, Thinking and Problem Solving – The Minto Pyramid Principle (SCQA) SCQA is an acronym for Situation, Complication, Question and Answer, which by the way is also known as the Minto Pyramid Principle. In all work on this module especially in assignments students are strongly encouraged to structure their arguments (their story) by applying the guidelines of the Minto Pyramid Principle. The full approach has been set out in the following book: Minto, B. 2009. The Pyramid Principle: Logic in Writing and Thinking. Financial Times/ Prentice Hall; 3rd Ed. ISBN-10: 0273710516; ISBN-13: 978-0273710516. (R) Students may find summaries of the approach through searching on the Internet, yielding useful guides such as the examples below: https://speakingsherpa.com/how-to-tell-a-business-story-using-the-mckinsey-situation-complication-resolution-scr-framework/ (accessed 24 August 2018) https://analytic-storytelling.com/online_module/slides/AnalyticStorytelling_BuildAClearStructure.pdf (accessed 24 August 2018) https://www.slideshare.net/BySlidebooks/pyramid-principle (accessed 24 August 2018) https://www.slidemagic.com/blog/2009/12/mckinsey-flashback-logic-rhetoric-and.html (accessed 24 August 2018) In Addition, please check files attached
