Rowling adapts and revises old stories to construct her novel, most notably the labyrinth, the phoenix, and the basilisk. Research these three things and analyze the ways in which Rowling revises and joins them in order to make an argument about the novel as a whole. The problem I have is what these 3 things say about the novel as a whole except Harry continues on his journey. The journey to revenge his parents, to learn about the secrets of those around him at the school and who he can trust, his journey to find out what happened to his parents and who was involved. I’m not sure if this is a good argument to tie these to and am looking for suggestions. Also, the bibliography or reference page should be the 5th page and not the 4th.
