Problem or Issue in Practice or Education that is an Area of Concern What is the problem?( Nurse-to-pt ratios) Significance of the problem: Why do you think this is an area of concern? Although this is partially opinion, you need to include references to support your assertions here. Approximately 1-2 Pages III. Design an Intervention that ‘Fits’ the Theory Report findings in at least one published article that addressed this practice problem/issue Report findings in at least one published text or article that addressed how the theory could be useful in practice in general. If you find a published article that show use of the theory in practice that directly relates to the problem area of concern- that is hitting the goldmine for support of use of the theory in practice! Propose an intervention you would try that could use the viewpoint of the theory or some concept in the theory (This is your opinion, with or without an actual article that supports a connection between the theory and the problem). Approximately 2-3 Pages IV. Conclusion What overall affects the ability to apply this theory to a practice problem?Reflect on the problem you discussed and consider: Is theory needed for future research on that problem/issue or not? Why? There is no right or wrong answer. More than one view can be defended. What do you think? Approximately 1-2 Pages References: Provide at least 5 articles or text references on the theory or related interventions in practice. Provide a list of all References cited in the paper on the final page of the paper. In addition, the author, year of the article/text citations is noted in the text of the paper.
