School of Education students should choose an article from the Journal of Geography. This journal deals with methods and ideas for bringing geographic concepts into the K-12 classroom. Find an article pertaining to the level you plan to teach (6-8, etc.). Non-teachers should use an article from Audubon or MacLeans. Choose an article that relates to your major or personal interest. Subjects might include human/nature interaction, population geography, or global interaction. All journals are in the UMKC Library and most are on the web. Papers should be typed and double-spaced.
