2. Use strong action verbs that describe the action. Avoid generic verbs like: move, moving, dance, run, walk, he or she goes. Instead, be creative and vivid in your descriptions of movement to help the reader understand the qualities and moods evoked by the choreography. . If the choreography is a ballet, or is representative of ballet, please use appropriate codified vocabulary to the extent possible.
3. Use strong adverbial modifiers (-ly words) such as softly, aggressively etc. You can also use similes: for example, He jumped like a cat
C. LIGHTING: (Be sure to include changes in lighting throughout the work)
1. Describe colors and location of lighting used throughout the work.
2. Describe the mood(s) created by the lighting choices.
D. COSTUMES/PROP(S)/ACCESSORIES:
1. Describe costumes (including various levels of body reveal)
2. Is the movement or fitting of costume important?
3. Discuss any implied historical time period, class or status, ethnicity or cultural affiliation.
4. Describe any props and accessories.
E. SOUND SCORE:
1. Describe the types of sound used in this work:

2. Use the analysis elements as evidence and connect them to your conclusions. Keep in mind that there can be many interpretations of the same work. There is no wrong interpretation/conclusion.
