Discourse Analysis on the Portrayal of Female Politicians in the Media

Building on Assessment One (RESEARCH PROPOSAL that is attached), this assessment requires you to present your completed research report, which includes the literature review, research question, methods and the findings of your primary research. You may structure your report however you wish, but it is generally recommended that it contains the following sections: Introduction (approx. 100 words) Literature Review (approx. 1000 words) Research Question (<50 words) Research Methods Employed (approx. 400 words) Note: this section will differ slightly as compared to A2, as you will be discussing the methods in the past tense, as well as any issues or challenges you faced in undertaking them (which you may not have previously foreseen). Findings (1500+ words) What did you discover in your project? Were these findings as you (or previously scholars) predicted? Or, do they contradict previous research? How do your findings inform the field? (i.e. how does this contribute to the existing research on the topic, which you discussed in the literature review?) Conclusion (approx. 150 words) What are the overall findings of this study? How reliable are the results? (i.e. could the methodology be improved if you were to run the study again?) What are some possible directions for future research? Please read RESEARCH PROPOSAL (attached). The information in this research report is to follow on from that. When talking about the research methods and findings, please make it sound like actual data was collected. It must be convincing. Please also carry out your own research from reputable and academic sources. Thanks. Hide

The Feasibility of Anti-Corruption Initiatives in Saudi Arabia

Remember, you should have added to those original sources and should be up to at least 20 sources, half of which should be current secondary sources (eg, from scholarly journals)! The literature review focuses on how other researchers have addressed similar questions. It places the study in context and discusses how it will differentiate itself from what is already in the field. See page 44 of the Capstone EOP Manual for more detail. I am looking for approximately 20 sources including 10 sources from peer-reviewed or high-quality scholarly journals and publications and 15 pages. You are attempting to establish what the literature says and where the gap exists that you plan to fill! This assignment is intended to put your research into context with the current published material on your topic. As such, you should aim for at least 12 current, scholarly, secondary or primary sources specifically on your approved research proposal. Then, discuss each source and how it is related to your topic. You will continue to add sources as you do your research and analysis but this should give a good overview of the current state of the literature, regulations, laws, etc. Please review the requirements for a lit review. This is not stacking sources and discussing one after the other. Part of this assignment is working your topic and thesis statement/question into your analysis of these sources and their application. FEEDBACK / PROPOSAL 10-24-18 This is clearer than the last version. I understand better what you are proposing. You are proposing essentially a meta-study (a study of studies). This is a legitimate approach, but it is important to be very careful not to merely review and summarize other researchers work (that would be a literature review, which is not original research). In the methodology your thesis, you will need to be more detailed and specific about the coding of studies, how you will analyze the coded data, and how you define success (since your hypothesis is about the success of anti-corruption initiatives). There are some writing and concept errors in this paper. Please review them before moving forward. Please move forward to your literature review.

Incheon Free Economic Zone development

Incheon, South Korea, a rapidly growing port city that has long held an important role in the country. While for most of its history it has been considered more of a coastal extension of Seoul. It is now trying to grow from that role and become a global city. Through national and local initiatives and acts, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) has been created. This large zone connects three smaller districts into one large project. However, as most large scale projects come to see, there are multiple issues and constraints faced by the IFEZ. The goal of the project is to assert Incheon as its own city and go beyond its role as merely a gateway to Seoul. This paper analyses the project thus far in its history and gives critique and suggestion on how the project could possibly achieve its goal quicker.
