Health care issues continue to challenge managers and administrators in the field. Some of these issues create ethical challenges for a health care organization. Often, issues related to the right to die, physician-assisted suicide, and other death and dying situations generate a great divide among health care scholars, policy makers, and leaders. Todays health care managers are challenged with facing these issues in their organizations, and they need to be prepared to see various sides of the debate.For this assignment, choose a current ethical issue related to death and dying that you feel challenges health care managers. Topics need to be current and related to one of the following:Physician-assisted suicideDefine the challenge, and present two sides of the issue. Choose one of the following. Use the bullet points and topics as a guideline. If you

or topic, how it relates to psychology of design and your own personal take on the
issue. Review the rubric for specific guidelines.
Research: You will need to cite a minimum of three sources. Web URLs or other
citations are fine; you do not have to rely on MLA, APA or other citation formats. When
citing, include a footnote and use a numerical superscript to indicate where in your
report the information came from. Use research from a variety of sources and ensure
that its decent information.
Personal Analysis: Take the idea below and make it your own. Include personal
insights, analysis or anecdotes. Why did you care about this topic?
Class Concepts: The ideas listed below all have an obvious tie-in to the class. Make
sure you explore that topic in depth. Consider other class concepts and how they
relate to your topic. (For example, in 3D movies you could talk about attention or tie
personality in with gamification).

Final Report Rubric
For each of the following sections, you will be rated on a scale from 0 to 4. Each
section is worth different percentages of your grade, listed below.
Research – 30%
0: Did not do any research.
1: Research was included but not cited in the report, or you did not find enough
sources.
2: Research is complete but not always properly cited. There are facts and information
that need reference.
3: Paper is overall well researched and cited, but one or more of your sources are weak
and dont explore the topic in depth.
4: Paper is well researched. The research sources youve chosen have a wealth of
information or youve found multiple sources to adequately cover your topic. Research
is cited within the paper.
Personal Analysis – 30%
0: No personal analysis included.
1: Youve included a small amount of personal analysis, but I had to struggle to find it
or it is incomplete.
2: Included some personal analysis, but did not tailor it to your report very well.
3: Overall detailed personal analysis. You made some assumption or glossed over in
some areas.
4: Went into detail on concepts you chose, offering a great explanation through
personal insight.
Class Concepts – 40%
0: Did not incorporate class concepts into project.
1: Included one class concept but did not go into enough detail. Missed obvious
examples of concepts from class.
