Topic Your topic must be related to Japanese religion It could be one of the six themes we have learned in the course, or you can explore a more specific topic of your own interest Write a brief description explaining what your topic is and why you are interested in the topic (100-250 words) 2. The annotated bibliography Use the MLA citation format and be consistent with it Use a minimum of 7 sources that includes 5 academic sources If you are aiming for extra credit, use a minimum of 10 sources including 8 academic sources Each source should be accompanied by a 100-150 word annotation o Write annotations in paragraphs using complete sentences o What are the main points? What is the argument? o How credible is the source? How current? Any biases? o How useful is it for learning your topic about Japanese religion? 3. Findings and conclusion Write a discussion of what you have learned from your research.
