write a short (400-500 word) essay comparing and contrasting either a friend or relative that you’ve known a long time, and how your opinion of that person has changed or stayed the same; or compare two different commercials for two different brands of of the same product (i.e., one for Allstate Insurance compared with one for Farmers Insurance).

Start with a short outline, then proceed to the essay, which should START with the thesis statement (no introduction needed), then is followed by several paragraphs (either Subject by Subject comparison or Point by Point comparison), and a short conclusion.

Do you agree that the statute in question applies to computer-generated and computer-transmitted information?

Read Should Cross Burnings be Protected as a Form of Free Speech?, and address the elements listed below.
a. Summarize the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in both of the cases that are excerpted in the handout. In a few words, explain why the court in R.A.V. v. City of St. Paul overturned the decision of the Minnesota Supreme Court. Explain why the court upheld the Virginia statute in Virginia v. Black.
b. In Virginia v. Black, what did the court mean when it held that “just as any state may regulate only that obscenity which is the most obscene due to its prurient content, so too may a state choose to prohibit only those forms of intimidation that are most likely to inspire fear of bodily harm”? 2. Read Does the Sending of Obscene Material Over the Internet Constitute the Transportation of Obscene Material in Interstate Commerce?, and address the questions below.

b. Should the government be required to present expert witnesses to establish that the material in question is obscene? Is this a question that a jury can decide on its own? How are jury members aware of “community standards”?
c. If the community standards are different in Milpitas, California, from those of Memphis, Tennessee, why should the defendants beheld accountable for the standards in Memphis and not those in the location where the material was transmitted?
d. Are you satisfied with the test for obscenity? In what manner, if any, would you change the standard?
The handouts are attached.

Do you agree with the court of appeals that the statute is not unconstitutionally vague?

Read What Constitutes the Crime of Stalking?, and write a case study that addresses the questions below.
Provide a brief overview of the handout.
What are the elements of the crime of stalking under the statute discussed in this case?

Is the evidence in this case sufficient to support a stalking conviction? The case study will be at least two pages in length, not counting the title and reference pages. It should present an insightful and thorough analysis with strong arguments and evidence. The handout is attached.

Use the graph provided and reflects on your personal Temperamental Traits. on the chart distinguish which style you believe you most reflect and why?(Easy/Flexible), (Slow to Warm/Fearful),

Provide 2 examples for each one reflecting on your personal style & explain.
Include with each example whether you are High Level, Moderate/Medium Level or Low Level. NOTE: Task #1 is to be completed in the chart provided that expands as you type. Using Arial 12 Font Only Task #2Reflect on your Attachment Case Study (Sonia)
Compare your personal temperament style with that of Sonias. Speak to 4 of the 9 temperament traits that you would like to compare and comment on. You are comparing 4 of your traits to 4 of Sonias. Show this in a graph/power point or chart form.

What implications does this have for your practice with this child? Tell me.(e.g. Goodness of Fit What do you need to consider or need to change to support her needs based on your traits and hers? What is your focus after reviewing your traits and hers?
Now provide 2 specific strategies to best support Sonias individual strengths and 2 areas that require strengthening that you see emerging but needs support.

write a research paper in which you analyze, synthesize and evaluate the research done on a specific topic related to intercultural communication.

Option 1: Research Paper (Literature Review) – (see grading rubric) This option will give you the opportunity to analyze a specific topic of interest to you. You may choose a topic that we have discussed in class and research it further or choose a new intercultural topic (e.g., the role of culture in the classroom, cultural writing styles, culture in business settings, intercultural training, identity development).
A good research paper for this course should have a specific rather than a general topic, a specific research question or questions that inform(s) your writing, a clear and well-supported theme, and adequate information on your chosen topic. Because the focus of this paper will be on existing literature, you have to use a minimum of 10 academic (peer-reviewed) journal articles or book chapters. Will submit original proposal this was the professor’s response:This is a great topic for the final paper! Just make sure that you define “cultural differences” in the final paper. Based on the researcher, this term is conceptualized differently. Although all of the questions you raised in the proposal are good, choose one as the guiding question in the final paper.

A series of identical reaction tubes were prepared using a buffer solution at the optimal pH for the enzyme. A standard amount of enzyme was added to each tube so they were all at the same concentration and the tubes equilibrated in a water bath at the optimal temperature for the enzyme, so the concentration of the substrate was the only variable.

The reaction was initiated by addition of an equal volume of substrate at the appropriate concentration (staggered at 30 second intervals). The reaction was terminated after 10 minutes by addition (at 30 second intervals) of an inhibitor. The amount of reaction product was determined spectrophotometrically.

1Plot a graph to show the effect of substrate concentration on the rate (velocity) of the reaction.

2From the graph, determine values for the maximal velocity (Vmax) and the half-maximal velocity (Vmax)

3 Use the latter value to determine the substrate concentration which causes Vmax. This value is the Km value or the Michaelis constant. Using on the results comment on the measure of the affinity of the enzyme for the substrate i.e. the amount of enzyme that is required to produce half the maximal velocity of the reaction.

4 Plot a graph of the 1/[S] and 1/v and from the graph determine Vmax and Km (this is Lineweaver-Burke reciprocal graph). Using on the results comment on the measure of the affinity of the enzyme for the substrate i.e. the amount of enzyme that is required to produce half the maximal velocity of the reaction.

5 Using researched literature and your results discuss the difference in the results of Vmax and Km that you have found in the two methods.

6 Decide if any of the two methods are accurate/which is best accurate method for the calculation of Vmax and Km.

7 Identify the main variables (independent, dependent and control variables) in this experiment.

BOARD APPROVAL FUNDING(NURSING HOME PATIENT

In this assignment, you will select a program, quality improvement initiative, or other project from your place of employment (NURSING HOME). Assume you are presenting this program to the board for approval of funding. Write an executive summary (850-1,000 words) to present to the board, from which they will make their decision to fund your program or project. The summary should include:
1-The purpose of the program or project.
2-The target population or audience. USE NURSING HOME PATIENT
3-The benefits of the program or project
4-The cost or budget justification.
The basis upon which the program or project will be evaluated.
Share your written proposal with your manager, supervisor or other colleague in a formal leadership position within a health care organization. Request their feedback using the following questions as prompts:
Do you believe the proposal would be approved if formally proposed?
2-What are some strengths and weaknesses of the proposal?
3-Submit the written proposal along with the “Executive Summary Feedback Form.”
Prepare this assignment according to the APA guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
